Pokémon Running race is the fourth game to be made for the Pokémon Mini. As it isn't even out in Japan at the time of writing, this article is pure speculation backed up with screen shots. It appears to be a racing platform game, where you have to reach the end of a level before your opponent, who could be a human being if they use the IR port.

It looks like you have a set number of lives (3?) and you might also be going against the clock. Perhaps it records your best times in order to give it replay value, to make you want to come back and play some more.
