How the Gym League Works
Due to many of you probably not understand the way it works, I'll go ahead and explain it. First of all, you must go through the first 8 gym leaders, and afterwards you must fight the Elite Four for the first time. After all that, you must fight the next batch of eight gym leaders, then fight the next batch of Elite Four, but now - with a twist. The next batch of Elite Four is going to be an UBARS MATCH TO THE DEATH (credit to Alex for the title), where you can use your own ubers to fight against the Elite Four member's ubers. And after winning the elite four, you must fight the champion (optional). The champion is generally the most recent person to have defeated the whole gym league. Notes

You must defeat all of that gym's gym trainers before fighting the gym leader
Gym leaders may skip their gym, and automatically get the badge from their gym
You must fight the leaders in order
Elite Four members are not barred from the competition; they have the option of simply skipping their match
A leader must have four "core" Pokemon that they must use every challenge; these "core" Pokemon must be PM'd to an administrator or the leader to keep records of in case one tries to change stuff around or pull something. The "core" Pokemon may change with permission from someone higher up, but you must have a good reason otherwise it will most likely be turned down.

Ubers are as follows: Mewtwo, Mew, Ho-Oh, Lugia, Latios, Latias, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Deoxys (all forms), Darkrai, Palkia, Dialga, Giratina. There may be others but they're the main ones. They're basically extra-strong legendaries. A step above all other Pokémon.

Question: What about keeping a tally of who you have beaten? I mean, if I beat all of one's Gyms Trainers, how do I then go about battling the Gym Leader him/herself? I mean, how would the Gym Leader know that I had defeated their Gym Trainers? (Not that I can join in, what with having no damn Wifi...)
