Introduction

Amity Square is basically a fun little place which Nintendo created for you in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl. The idea is to bond with your Pokémon there, so you increase your relationship with it. You can also get cool items for contests and berries there, so fwee :D

How To Get There

To get to this place of wonders, go to Hearthome City (the place with the church and contest hall for people who don't know where that is) and take one of the entrances. There are two entrances, and I am going to tell you where both of them are.

One of these entrances is to the left of the Pokémon Centre. Literally follow the left road around from the centre, and you can get in through a gate.

The other entrance is behind the gym, to the far top right of Hearthome. Walk through a gatehouse, and you are in.

But you can't just walk into Amity Square with something like a Rayquaza. You have to go in with a 'cute and friendly' Pokémon. What counts as cute and friendly? Well, here's a nifty little table to show you :D

What's In It For You?

Well. You may be wondering exactly why on earth you may want to be running around like a raving lunatic in a place where nothing is to be gained? Fear not. Hidden in the Park you can find TM43, TM45, a Spooky Plate and an Amulet Coin. Additionally, as you run around, your Pokémon automatically pick stuff up for you, which you can take off of them.

The rewards differ for each Pokémon that you can take in, so here is another one of those convenient tables for you to use.
