Puzzle League/Puzzle Challenge Puzzle League: Puzzle League Overview |

In Pokémon Puzzle League, Ash battles 16 trainers and the Puzzle Master to become the best in the Puzzle League Championship. This is different than the storyline of Tetris Attack, but the gameplay should be the same. In Tetris Attack, the Magikoopa creates a spell that causes endless rain on Yoshis Island and turns his friends against him. Yoshi must battle his friends and then 4 fiendish villains to save Yoshis Island. Tetris Attack is packed with different player modes and a cool CPU player option so you can practice against a computer player, observe a high level computer players in action, and even have the computer play the 1 player versus mode. There are also animated tutorials on how to play and developing skills presented by Yoshi to help you. If these are made for Puzzle League, they might be presented by Professor Oak.

Tetris Attack is a great game which will give your brain some exercise. It has gameplay partially based on the original Tetris game. Panels (square blocks) rise from the bottom of the screen. They come in different colors in stacks. Your objective is to clear as many as you can, as quickly as you can. The game is over when one or more of the stacks of panels reaches the top of the screen. The cursor is a rectangle that covers two panels. Panels are moved by switching the places of the two panels that the cursor is placed on. In this way, they can be moved across the screen.

When you align three panels horizontally or vertically, they are cleared and the panels above them drop. You can clear panels faster using chains and combos. This will give you a higher score and attack enemies when you play versus mode.

Combo: Making a combo is clearing more than three panels at a time. The panels don't have to be of the same color. The more panels you clear, the more points you get and the better the attack on an opponent.
