Episode Reviews: Clefairy Tales

This episode begins on a starry night, with Jigglypuff walking down a path in the forest, singing. Behind it, a Pidgey and Caterpie fall to the ground, asleep. Jigglypuff gets mad, and draws all over their faces. Suddenly, a teapot, of all things, hits Jigglypuff on the head! Jigglypuff looks up to see what looks like a round space ship zoom overhead! It crashes somewhere in the forest, and there is an explosion. Jigglypuff rushes over to see. The ship is wrecked. A hatch on the front opens, and several sillouettes are seen. Clefairies!

Ash and the others are in Viridian, and eating ice cream. Misty says she's glad they stopped for ice cream. she gives some to Togepi, and asks if it likes it. Ash thinks shes asking him, and says he sure does! Just then, a Clefairy walks up to the table! Brock says he can't believe one would just walk up to them! Misty says its cute, and maybe she can catch it by using some ice cream as bait! The Clefairy looks worried, then runs away! Misty chases after, and the others follow. They leave all there stuff at the table, which is taken by unseen theives...

Misty can find the Clefairy. She wonders how it got away, and Brock says that they're small, but they're tricky! They go back to the table, and find their stuff missing! Even the ice cream! Ash gets upset because he didn't get to taste the chocolate. Brock says they should report it to Officer Jenny.

At Officer Jenny's booth, there is a huge line of people, all saying how theire stuff was stolen. Things like bottles, bats, pots, buttons, and other weird stuff. Jenny tells them all to keep cool! Ash wonders why its so crowded. Misty says there must be some sort of crime wave. Brock wonders why the theives would steal stuff like bike horns, bottles, etc? A weird guy in a lab coat and black hair says that that aliens have been stealing the stuff! Ash asks who the guy is. He says that he's the one who knows the truth about visitors from outer space, Ozwald! Ash wonders how these people find them. =) Jenny asks if Ash and the others have had stuff stolen, and they say yes. Ozwald says that its the extraterrestrials, and he has conclusive evidence and proof! He shows them a scrapbook full of pics and interviews and other alein related stuff. Misty says that everyone knows that aliens and UFO's aren't real! One guy points to a pic of a familair looking round space ship, and says that he saw that one a few nights ago! Ozwald grabs him, and asks where he saw it, how fast it was going, etc. the guy says that he saw it three nights ago. Ozwald continues to shake the guy asking if he was beamed on board. He stops saying he got carried away. Jenny says that things started to be stolen three nights ago! Ash wonders if the aliens might be real.

Ash and the others follow Ozwald, who is carrying a weird looking device with two red lights on the top. Misty asks why they have to do this?! Brock says they need to find their stuff, and Ash wants to meet some aliens! Misty tells him to get real. The thing Ozwald was holding starts beeping and flashing, and he says its found something! Ash says he doesn't see any aliens. Then, a UFO lands in front of them. It was glowing, and it fades. A door opens, and two blue aliens come out! They say something weird, and take Ash's Pikachu. They get back in their ship, and start flying away! Ozwald shouts for them to come back, and Ash says to bring back his Pikachu!

In the ship, Pikachu is trapped inside a glass case. The two aliens reveal themselves as Jessie and James. (Duh) Jessie asks how Pikachu likes its space capsule, and Pikachu tries shocking its ay out, but all it does is light up a lightbulb on the top. James says that because its made of glass, it won't conduct electricity! He says, its a Lightbulbasaur, and they laugh. Up on a skyscraper, Meowth is in a crane, pulling the ship up.

The others down belwo see, and Misty says that its a fake! Ash brings out Pidgeotto, and tells it to cut the cable! It does, and Team Rocket falls back to earth. Ozwald says, they're not aliens? Team Rocket takes off their costumes, and say their motto. When they end, instead of Meowth saying 'That's right!" a Clefairy pops up! Ozwald's 'alien finder' beeps, and he says that Clefairy must be an alien! Then Jigglypuff shows up, but without its Marker of Doom. Ozwald's thing beeps, and he says that Jigglypuff is also an alien! It also says that Misty is an alien, and she says that Ozwald is the only alien around here, and knocks it out of his hands, breaking it.

He gets upset, saying that it took him weeks to put it together, and what if he can't find the comic book he ordered it from?! =) Jessie and James say they hate people who take all the attention from them. Meowth says they should grab Pikachu, who is still in the capsule, while everyone is distracted! But Clefairy grabs it instead! Jessie, James and Meowth chase after it. Clefairy turns around, and makes a motion with its hand. Team Rocket runs right into a blue force field! (Light Screen, probably) They pass out, and Ash, Jigglypuff, Misty, Brock and Ozwald chase after Clefairy. They turn into an alley, but Clefairy is gone, and its a dead end! Where did it go? Jigglypuff finds a man hole cover over a hole, and pulls it off. Brock says he can't even see the bottom! Jigglypuff jumps in though, and so do the others. They all fall into blackness.

They fall through a long series of pipes, ending up in a cave of some sort. Misty says that Pikachu is gone. Brock tells them all to look, and they see a huge space ship! Ozwald says that the Clefairies must have built it, and they'll be blasting off very soon! They see a bunch of Clefairy carrying stuff like gold clubs, pots, etc. Brock says that they must have been the ones stealing stuff to use to build their rocket! Ash sees the Clefairy carrying Pikachu into the ship, who is asleep in the capsule. Misty wonders why they need Pikachu. Ozwald says they're going to use its electric attack to power their ship! Ash says they aren't going to use his Pikachu! Suddenly, a weird device with some flashing lihgts comes down from the ceiling, and alarams go off. ash thinks they've been spotted, but Ozwald says that its the signal that means they're about to blast off!

Jigglypuff and Ash run into the ship, and Misty follows. Brock says he's going to tell Officer Jenny. Ozwald decides that he wants to go with the Clefairy into space! Behind a rock, Team Rocket is watching. Jessie asks James if he was thinking what she was thinking. He asks what he was thinking that she was thinking. She says that they should bring Pikachu and a whole ship of Clefairies to the Boss! James said that she must have read his mind, or did he read her's? =)

Ash, Misty, Ozwald and Jigglypuff go into the ship, which is very well made for being constructed of buttons and pots and stuff. =) They find Pikachu in a room in a glass tube, still asleep. But a bunch of Clefairy jump in front of the tube! Ash begs them to let Pikachu go! One Clefairy shakes it's head. Ash says that its more than just a Pokémon, its his friend! Then Jigglypuff steps past him! It walks up to the one Clefairy, and hits it with Pound! Then it uses Doubleslap! Clefairy counters with its Pound, but Jigglypuff hits it again, and it faints! All the other Clefairy attack! Jigglypuff infaltes itself, looming over them. It then starts beating up all the Clefairy. Ash looks surprised, and Misty says, real cute... Ozwald says they're watching an alien grudge match! Jigglypuff beats every Clefairy, and leaves. (Clefairys and Jigglypuffs are vicious!)

Ash tries to wake up Pikachu, but it won't. In the control room, a Clefairy with a flower in it's 'hair' and pushing buttons and stuff, when Ozwald and Jigglypuff come in! We see that Jigglypuff's marker is a joystick on the control panel! C;efairy turns around in the chair, and jumps up on the control panel! It and Jigglypuff watch each other for a moment angrily, and Clefairy attacks, knocking Jigglypuff back! Jigglypuff counters with Doubleslap, and Clefairy uses its Doubleslap! They fight for a while. They stop, and stand face to face. then Ozwald goes over to the control panel, and says he wonder's what the joystick does, and breaks it off accidently! Jigglypuff jumps up, and grabs the marker from him! Then a spotlight appears over it, and it starts singing!

Ash and Misty hear the song over an intercom, and fall asleep. Everyone falls asleep, and Jigglypuff draws all over Clefairy and Ozwald's faces. Meanwhile, the countdown has ended! A mallet comes down in the glass tube Pikachu is in, and hits it on the face! Pikachu gets upset, and does an electric shock, powering up the ship! The ship starts moving on a track down a tunnel. Team Rocket, in the ship, wakes up to find it moving!

On the surface, Brock is trying to convince Jenny and the people about the Clefairy! Jenny asks if she's supposed to believe that Clefairy have been stealing things to build a space ship. Then, everything starts shaking! The street opens up, and the Clefairy space ship comes out, and starts moving down the street! The engines turn on, and it goes faster, heading straight for a skyscraper! The bottom of the building is curved, so the ship goes up on the side, and into the air! In the ship, Team Rocket gets ready to ram a door open, only to find themselves in the part of the ship that breaks off after lift-off! They fall.

Pikachu is still using its electric shock, and it shatters the glass! Ash and Misty have woken up. Misty says that Pikachu's shock was probably too powerful, so the glass shattered. They find their backpakcs in the room with them. In the control room, the control panel is sparking. The ship has lost its power, and is starting to fall! Ash opens a hatch to hte outside, and they're really high up! Misty says they'll never make it! They're coming up to a building. Ash sends Bulbasaur, and has it grab a pole on the building with Vine Whip, and he and Misty swing out of the ship, which dissapears into hte sky. Ash wonders where they're going.

A bunch of people are camping by a lake, and hear a crash. They rush over to see the Clefairy space ship! The hatch opens, and Ozwald, dressed in a cardboard alien costume of some sort, comes out and asks if this is the Clefairy planet? The people panic and run away. All the Clefairy jump out of the ship, and start taking stuff from the campers. =)

Officer Jenny and the people thank Ash and the others for helping. They say goodbye and leave, but Jigglypuff is right behind!
