Episode Reviews: Its Mr Mimie time! Last shown on British Television: 22/02/00 at 3:55 on CITV By Lucy O'Malley Who's that Pokémon? No idea At the start of the episode Ash rings his Mum in the
middle of no where (Route 1), to tell he will be coming back home.
On the home Ash bumps into an invisible wall which a Mr Mime has bui;t by using its
barrier attack. Ash took out his Pokédex, and identified the Mr Mime near to them. Next
Ash was about to catch it when a woman from a circus asked Ash if she could catch it. The
lady from the circus explained that her Mr Mime who helps with the show had stopped
performing and started eating all day long. The woman didn't catch the Mr Mime, it ran off
to Pallet town. Later Ash wanted to help the show so he dressed up as a Mr Mime and
performed in the show. While Ash was busy performing, and the others we're watching the
show, the Mr Mime that they spotted had gone to Ash's house in Pallet Town. Ash's mum had
heard that Ash was helping out at the circus so she thought this was Ash still in his
costume. Mrs Ketchum gave the Mr Mime lots of food, still thinking it was Ash. When Ash
returned home he saw the Mr Mime and Mrs Ketchum became very confused. Mrs Ketchum was
embarressed and said that she wondered why it ate so politely! In the end the circus lady
got her Mr mime to perform again after working with the wild Mime to stop Team Rocket.
Ash's mum caught the Mr Mime and called it Mimie, it helps out around her house- unlike
Ash! |
