Pikachu's Jukebox? Pokérap!
Brock or Tracey? Brock!

Celadon City! Known for its bustling economy and huge skyscrapers!

Misty, Brock and Pikachu say they smell something wonderful! Perfume? Brock wanders to a store, and presses his face up against the window. Two pretty girls are talking inside. Brock says maybe they should stay awile. Misty and Pikachu are inside, sampling some of their perfume. Ash says not to buy any. Perfume is a waste of money, and it stinks.

The girls call the manager. She asks if Ash is accusing them of selling cheap perfume. Ash says he wasn't. All perfume is cheap, and it puts guy's into trances. He brings over Brock, who is definitly in a trance. The manager says some stuff about perfume, and says that if Ash objects to perfume, he should leave. They kick him out!

The Celadon Gym! But they won't let Ash in! They won't let him in if he hates perfume. They make it right there in the gym! One of the girls stamps a red X on Ash's face.

Team Rocket is climbing in through a window. They're going to steal the secret formula for the perfume, and make lots of money! They search through a room filled with plants. A Gloom! Its asleep, but James wakes it up! It sounds cute! James sends Koffing, and has it use Poison Gas. But Gloom just sucks it all up! It emits some powder from the thing on its head. According to Team Rocket, it stinks! Meowth says his nose is on fire! Jessie points out he doesn't have one. Meowth says the stink must have burned it off! Then he remembers, the cartoonist never gave him a nose! =) He and the others are knocked out by the girls. Red X's are put on their faces.

They're tied up in a tree! Ash comes along. James asks if he could help them, and Jessie tries to strangle James. She then figures it would be a good idea. She tells Ash they can help him get into the gym if he unties them. He accepts.

A clothing store! Ash steps out of the dressing room. . . .in drag!! So, he and Team Rocket, dressed as his parents, go into the gym. Jessie says they would like to get their daughter Ashley =) enrolled in some sort of gym thing. Can't remember. . . They ask if Ash, I mean Ashley, likes perfume, and he says yes. Meowth is trying to get out of Jame's shirt. . . Team Rocket rushes out. Ash will prove as a distraction while they steal the secret perfume formula! Meowth has a bomb, which Jessie says to put somewhere where it'll make a big explosion. Revenge for them ruining her face!

We see an Exeggcute, (or would that be some Exeggcute?) a Bellsprout, and an Oddish doing aerobics! Cute! Someone is reading a story about an Omanyte. When she's done, we see that Brock, Misty and Pikachu are in the audience! Another girl comes in and introduces Ash, er, Ashley. And the girl who was reading the story is the gym leader, Erika. She's also the store manager! Brock says they should give her a warm welcome. Ash sees that Pikachu is there! Misty says she has a question. She wonders how they can all sit with Gloom, even though she's heard that its bad smell keeps people from getting near it. She said it smelled just fine to her.

Erika says its a good question. She explains that Gloom only smells bad when it feels threatened. It smells just fine if it feels safe. She said she met Gloom a long time ago. She had gotten lost, and had run into a Grimer! She saw the Gloom walking by and cried out or help. Gloom understood how scared she was, and rescued her from the Grimer! Erika says the Gloom she has now is the same Gloom. They're great friends. She's devoted her life to being a Grass Pokémon trainer.

Misty says she wished Ash was there to hear that story. Ash then, stupidly, say he is there. Everyone stares at him. He says not to. Misty says he looks very familiar. Pikachu walks over to him. Ash tells him to knock it off, and Pikachu shocks him! The dress falls off. Ash says it was the only way he could get into the gym, and now he wants a match!

Meanwhile, Team Rocket has found the secret formula!

Erika says she has to accept the challenge. It'll be a 3 on 3 battle!

Ash sends Bulbasaur, and Erika sends Tangela. Ash has it use Vine Whip, and Tangela uses Constrict, until it has wound close to Bulbasaur. Then it uses Stun Spore, paralyzing it! Ash brings Bulbasaur back. Ash is about to send Primeape, but remembers how it punched him last time, so he sends Charmander instead. Erika sends Weepinbell. It uses Razor Leaf, but Charmander burns them! Charmander uses Skull Bash, and Weepinbell is knocked out! Ash might win! Erika says Ash will never become a great Pokémon master, because he has no empathy with his Pokémon. She sends Gloom! I knocks out Charmander with its bad smell. Which Pokémon should Ash use? Pikachu wants to fight!

Its Team Rocket! They say their lines, and Meowth dentonates the bomb, which was right under them! They are blasted away, and Jessie says they have the secret formula!

The gym is on fire! Everyone rushes to save the Grass Pokémon! Everyone is fighting the blaze. Pikachu rushes over with a tiny watering can and pours water on a little flower. =) Ash says they have to put out the fire. He sends Squirtle, who uses Water Gun. Misty sends Staryu and Starmie to help. Brock has Geodude pour dirt on the flames.

Erika can't find Gloom! Its still trapped inside! Ash goes in to save it! He finds Gloom, but the smell is too bad! He holds his breath, but before he gets to it, he has to breathe! The smell is gone! He remembers Erika saying Gloom smells fine if it feels safe. He grabs Gloom, and runs out of the gym! The fire is put out.

Erika gives Ash a Rainbowbadge! She thinks he earned it, and Gloom agrees. But what about Team Rocket? They got the secret formula. Erika says they only took one of the ingredients. Essence of Gloom!

We see Team Rocket open in a cement pipe open the bottle. You can imagine what happens next. =)
