New Wi-Fi Features :: Black and White Wi-Fi Section

Really bringing Pokémon into the 21st Century, Black and White expand on the use of Wi-Fi within the games. The following are the new features you can expect to find within the games:

Global Terminal

The GTS has remained within the games, this time in the shape of the Global Terminal. The biggest difference is that in addition to having new features, it is now found inside every Pokémon Center in Unova. Simply talk to the woman at the far right on the top floor of any Pokémon Center.

When you do you will be presented with the following options:

Random Battle: This puts you into a random battle with any other person from across the world who has also selected this feature in real-time, using the Pokémon you have in your party. Your rankings from this option can be found on the Pokémon Global Link whenever you complete a Game Sync.
GTS: Exactly the same as it was in Generation IV. You can offer Pokémon to trade, or respond to trades offered by other people.
GTS Negotiation: Effectively a random trading session. Using the Pokémon you have in your party you enter a trade against another random person, who could be based anywhere in the world and who has also selected this option in real-time. Both parties can select the Pokémon they want from the others party and if you can both reach an agreement, a trade will be made.

Xtransceiver

The Xtransceiver plays a big role within the game, and Nintendo DSi users are able to use one to see and talk to their friends in real time.
