- Table Tilt- Now you can tilt the Pinball table by pressing L and R! Pressing L tilts it left, pressing R tilts it Right and pressing L AND R tilts it upwards. Tilting the table at the right moment may tilt your Pokeball into some secret special places!
- Coins- You can also now earn coins whilst you’re playing Pinball. During the game, if you shoot your little Pokeball into the PokeMart hole, you get to option to buy lots of things to help you on your quest! You can get everything from Ball Upgrades to Extra Balls, and Ball Savers to Bonus Levels! No refunds, though.
- Egg Hatching- As well as catching wild Pokemon, you can now hatch them from Eggs! After hatching the egg (Ruby Table: Hitting Cyndaquil four times to make him/her hatch it; Sapphire Table: Activating the “Hatch Machine” four times to make the Egg hatch itself), a baby Pokemon will be released and start running around the table. Hit it twice within 30 seconds, and it’s yours!
- Switches- There are now various switches based around the table, which can affect your gameplay and give you advantages when hit! For example, when a certain switch is hit in the Ruby Table, Makuhita comes to life at the side of the table. Now when A is pressed, Makuhita will throw a Punch, possibly “Punching” the Pokeball to special places!
- New Pokemon- Of course, the Pokemon available are now the ones from R/S (not including Deoxys).
- Link Cable Friendly- You can now link up with your friends (if you have any) Pinball RS Versions (if they have any) and trade high scores and Pokedex readings! Your friends catch list will only appear as seen on your Pokedex, but the Pokemon will appear more often than normal!
