Everyone who plays the Pokémon RPG will experience it at some point; you try catching a Pokémon, but it just won't stay in the Poké Ball. You mash the buttons, you clench your eyes and cross your fingers or sacrifce a sheep, but nothing will help you catch it. This is especially frustrating when you're trying to catch a rare beast such as a shiny or a legendary.
I will go on to discuss the balls themselves in another page, but here's some information about the Pokémon themselves. As you may have noticed, some Pokémon are easier to catch than others - the following tables show the order.

I caught Raikou the first time I ran into it with an ultra ball; didn't even weaken it.
It took me about 10 great balls to catch snorlax because it kept using rest and it was my first snorlax so I couldn't get to Fuchsia and get ultra balls.
I caught rayquaza in a pokeball
I caught the three Regis in Pokeballs
I jsut wasted 5 ultras on a murkrow threw a pokeball, shke shake shake blip, so angry!
I caught my pokemon in a elite ball
i got rayqaza in 1 ultra ball!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i got groudon in 1 pokeball in the the yellow hp 1st time (im not lying)
I got Mewtwo in 2 ultra balls. HP in red, Paralyse, easy.
cauat dragonite in an ultra ball without weakaning it (on XD)
i got my mesprit in a great ball after throwing like, a million more powerful balls like ultraballs!!! and i got my giritina with just one ultraball!
i caught cressilia in a pokeball... threw like 40 ultra balls, ran out, popped out a pokeball, and just to make me tear my hair out and run down the street screaming like a maniac, she stayed in that ball...
i used like 15 ultra balls on Uxie and then i threw a net ball for fun and it caught it!
Here's something really useful. I'm not a pokemon game cheater but this tip is TOO cool to pass up. Once you've got the pokemon you want to catch in the pokeball say "gotcha" into the DS mic.It increases the catch rate a little.
I tried that it ony seems to make it less ikely.

I was like :O wth, My friend took like 20 dusk balls at night to get her palkia on pearl
i used all my twnty ultra balls :( to catch Heatran, then in desperation i threw a quick ball and came close to losing my sanity... it worked
I caught Darkrai in a Pokeball... And my bro caught ARCEUS thats right, ARCEUS in a Pokeball. I can't believe it! I bet he cheated...
