Diamond, Pearl and Platinum Pokémon: Swarming | Guide to swarming
Hi everyone, this is Aedan telling you all about swarming pokemon in the new Pokémon games, the Diamond and Pearl versions. You may ask "What are swarming Pokémon?" or, "Where do I find them", or even "When is dinner ready?", but do not fear, for I am confident that you will find the answer in this guide. Let us begin.

How to find out what Pokémon are swarming, and where. Every day after obtaining the national Pokédex, a different Pokémon swarms. There are two ways how to figure out which. You either spend hours guessing the area in which a Pokémon is swarming, or you ask Dawn's/Lukas's sister, who is found inside a house in Sandgem town which conviniently has a sign outside that conveniently says "Dawn's/Lukas's house." When you talk to the wee lassie, she tells you that she saw something on the news about a certain Pokémon swarming in a certain area. Ooh, fabulous.

Remember to check back every day to see what little beastie is swarming, you never know when something interesting might pop up. To be extra helpful, I even made a list of Pokémon, so you can be the envy of your friends by being a genius on swarming Pokémon. Fabulous!

Swarming is so annoying. If the pokemon isn't new, you have to wait a whole day for the next one.

Try chaining during a swarm, then you can brag to your friends about having a shiny Metagross or a shiny Electrode.
