Ranger Net Mission One: Gain Deoxys's Trust!?

First, Spenser will tell you all about his discovering of Deoxys in Lyra forest and how he couldn't capture it, so he wants you to do it. Some leader. You'll start the actual mission at the tip of the forest, right at the entrance to the Krokka Tunnel. Deoxys is there waiting for you, so walk up to him, and he'll run into the cave. Now that you're inside the tunnel, be sure to pick up some Machop, Poliwag, and Magneton, you'll need them.

Now continue along the path until you find Deoxys. When fighting him, heal whenever necessary with your Magneton, and you should at least try and stun him with Plusle/Minun. If you can't stun him, just bring out Machop and circle quickly.

After the battle with Deoxys, he'll run away again, this time changing into Defense form, his form with the most HP. Spenser will message you and tell you that he got word from Prof. Hastings that you can only really capture Deoxys when he's in his normal form. So with this being done, run after Deoxys again, picking up more pokemon like Machop and Magneton.

So for defense form, he will attack you with Shadow Balls and sometimes curl up into a little bubble that stops you from bringing down his points. You'll need Plusle/Minun at level 3 or 4 to get a good stun on him. And if you decided to pick up a Poliwag, then use them as well. Spin quickly when he's off guard and you'll get him. After getting him this time, he'll change into speed form. He moves very quickly, but he only has three points. I think there are some Poliwag along this hallway, so get some of those, if Speed Deoxys runs into those, everything will be just peachy. Speed Deoxys attacks with these ring-bubble things, avoid those of course.

After Speed is done, he will change into normal form and run away one more time. Catch more Poliwag, Magneton, and Machop for this final battle. He will alter between all of his forms in this battle. Just wait for him to change into normal again instead of capturing all the others.

When he's in normal, now's your chance to strike. Either stun him with Plusle/Minun and then use Machop, or use Poliwag and spin quickly. Normal Deoxys only has seven points, so it's not that hard. This mission is probably the easiest of the three, not including the Manaphy mission, but it's still pretty hard. It will require alot of starting over, so be ready to tear your hair out, scream, cry, and punch babies. Okay, maybe not the last one.

Ranger Net Mission Two: Rescue Celebi!

You will start off at the base, where Spenser tells you that reports of Celebi appearing by a shrine in Lyra Forest have been going around, and that members of the Go-Rock squad have also been sighted. Spenser thinks that they're trying to capture Celebi, what a genius! So he needs you (of course) to go and capture Celebi and stop the Go-Rock squad. Off to the side Murph complains that you get all the cool missions. So Spenser lets Murph tag along with you.

You'll enter Lyra Forest and see Celebi. The Go-Rock squad comes and chases him away though. Wander around after them a bit until you find a member with a few Hoppip. The Hoppip are really slow, so just capture them as usual. The Grunt will run away, stunned. Walk in the same direction as the Grunt until you come across another grunt will some Spinarak. The grunt think Celebi is way out of your league, and that Spinarak are more worthy for you. The Spinarak will shoot some webs, avoid them and capture the Spinarak. Follow this grunt as with the last one until you come across another with some Beedrill. You may want to use a PokeAssist on these, they're rather fast.

Follow the grunt in the direction she walked in until you see another Grunt with Celebi cornered. Celebi smacks the grunt and runs away. Celebi wanders around after that, so wander around and try to get Celebi corner and capture it. If you need to, capture some other pokemon to remove obstacles. When you finally get to him, he will summon vines, making it harder to circle him. Wait until the vines fade, and quickly use an assist. Celebi only has 3 points, so it's easy, but he's fast. He also gets irritated fast, and you'll have to find him again if he manages to run. Also make sure you get Celebi by himself, without other pokemon nearby. Also, you can capture him if you spin around him in the time that he summons vines if you do it quickly enough.

Ranger Net Mission Three: Find Mew, the Mirage!

You'll start this mission in the Summerland Ranger base. Cameron tells you that Mew, the mirage pokemon has been spotted in the Olive Jungle. He wants you to go into the jungle, locate, and capture Mew. He says that Prof. Hastings sent this mission, and he needs Mew's data for his Styler research. Percy is already there, saying there is no Mew. But then Mew, with perfect timing, let's out her cry and floats away. Follow Mew into the jungle, and make sure you capture some Bug pokemon. You NEED these, Spinarak are fine, but what you really need is a nice Shedinja. They can be found around the Jungle Relic, and you may want to capture both, just in case. After you've gotten some good bugs, follow Mew's cry until you can get close enough to enter the capture scene. Along the way, you might also want to pick up an Electric type, preferably Manectric, just in case. Once you get to Mew, use your Bug PokeAssist to trap it, and circle really fast. Mew has about 17 HP, so it might take a few tries, seeing as it brakes loose quickly and it gets irrated and flees quickly as well. Mew is the hardest out of all the Special Missions, or at least that's what I think, so don't stress if it takes a while.
