Description: Male Revains are incredibly narcissistic. They have intricate meshes in their feathers which act like dreamcatchers. Dreams get snagged in the mesh so that the males may use them as decoration for their plumage in order to attract a mate. They use their two long, prehensile tails to delicately pick at the captured dreams and prise out unwanted ones. Some choose to remove all the bad dreams, and attract a mate by having an aesthetically pleasing tailful of good dreams; others remove the nicer dreams and keep only the nightmares, so that he can show off to a female how well he can protect her from them.

Description: Female Revains are far less flashy than the males. Instead of the beautiful back plumage, they grow extra tail feathers, which they use as weapons. Far more prone to aggression than the placid males of the species, females attack by jumping into the air and slamming the opponent with the thick beads on the ends of their tails. They are fiercely proud and protective of their territories.
