Pokémon maybe not be in the news much anymore, but it's gonna be in the papers...

According to VizKids.com from September 10th there will be a Pokémon comic strip in papers across America!

They are being released at this time to precede the new season, and the new movie, both of which are coming to the States soon.

The comic strips will feature the characters from the anime series, but "with a wry sense of humor that will appeal to kids and adults alike".

Donkey reckons that these same comic strips appeared in British papers over a year ago! If we can get confirmation, we'll let you know.
