An interesting picture has turned up on the official Japanese Pokémon site... could it be a new Pokémon? Updated with Psythor's mindless speculation. It now looks like it is in fact an item of sorts, disappointingly.

This news item is more than 45 days old. Updates are unlikely and newer information may already be available.

It certainly looks like a Pokémon:

It was found on the Mysterious Dungeon pages, so looks like it could feature there. What is it though? What does it do? Will this be able to fight off a Sythoru?

Update: Reading some of the comments it does look really, really like a hat- notice the bold outline used on the "tongue" suggesting that there's a hole there, as oppposed to a white body part.

I could be wrong though- keep speculating!

Its probably an item for PMD2. Sorta like Bulba Fang/Claw. You might be able to exchange it at the Croagunk Swap Shop or somthing. Of course, I could be wrong.

Yeah its a Barboach thingy. It probably raises the base stats of Barboach and Whishcash when in the team's Treasure Bag.
