Everyday it seems something new and useful is added to Pokémon UK. If you're a little baffled about what everything is and does, pay attention to this update. Here is some of the new features and some details. First of all, and most noticeably, when you visit a section of the site, such as Gold and Silver or Episode Guides, regular readers will notice that instead of going to the first page of that section as it used to, you are now greeted with a summary page, which features links to all the pages in the section, the latest forum topics relating to the section, and all the news items about the section. It makes Pokémon UK even easy to get around.

If you've ever clicked the "settings" image in the big blue box at the top of the page, you will know that there is a user control panel to help you customize your PUK experience. Of course, because of the user based nature of this, you have to be a member (sign up if you haven't already- its all free and will only take a minute). Here you can customize news reports so the news displayed is only the news that matters to you, change the "build" of Pokémon UK- meaning that instead of seeing everything blue and having an Azurill on the logo, you can change the site so its different colours! The control panel also allows you to enable background music- meaning that each page you visit will randomly pick a Pokémon tune and play it (you can disable it at anytime and it is off as a default).

Another major new feature is the introduction of the Trivia (or Quiz). Here you can answer and endless stream of quiz questions relating to Pokémon. The questions are all randomized and picked from a large database of questions. Again, you have to be a member because the trivia will save your score to your user-file to allow you to carry on another day. Can you make it in to the top 10 players list?

A major user-based feature is the forums or message board. Here you can chat to other Pokémon fans about the one subject that matters- Pokémon!
