Japan Gamecube-less Pokemon fans will have smiles on their faces this Summer, when Nintendo release a brand-spanking new Pokemon XD Gamecube Pack!

Set for a Japanese release on the 4th August (that's the 5th anniversary of the Queen Mother receiving a telegram off her daughter), the pack will come with a silver Gamecube, a 59 Block Memory Card and of course, a copy of Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness.

The pack will cost 16,800. That's about 127, $154, or in real money, 85. The main question is whether Nintendo will decide to release one of these packs in Europe, and if they do, will they package it with another semi-rare disk that essentially does sod all? Based upon the success of the Pokemon Colosseum Game "Pak", one with an optimistic outlook on life would be inclined to suggest "probably" to both of those questions. Woo. Either way, the game will be out in Europe this November, so we'll just have to wait and see!
