Pokémon plush toys sold at the Nintendo World Store in New York (formerly known as the NY Pokémon Center) and on the Pokemoncenter.com website have been recalled, as they could be dangerous.

This news item is more than 45 days old. Updates are unlikely and newer information may already be available.

This is not the first time Pokémon toys have been recalled.

"About 9200" of the toys, fluffy representations of Skitty, Plusle, Pikachu, Eevee, Munchlax, Minun, Mew, Mew, Lugia and Ho-oh, were made. Manufactured in China, it seems in the factory, that they accidentally went down the "my little communist" production line, where pure evil was injected into the toys, in the form of sewing needles, and they could still be present in the toys today. If you have one of the affected dolls, then do not panic! You can get a replacement one before Small Soldiers becomes a reality, and they try to puncture you. Simply give the relevant people a ring on (800) 930-6613 and they'll sort you out a replacement.

To comment on this news, we got in contact with two of the evil toys, and asked them for their thoughts...

"Come closer and give me a hug, I won't STAB YOU IN THE EYES UNTIL THEY BLEED."

"I look just like the Pokémon I represent, honest!"
