Game Boy Color puzzle game, Pokémon Puzzle Challenge is being re-released for the Game Boy Advance- in a double pack with Dr Mario!

This news item is more than 45 days old. Updates are unlikely and newer information may already be available.

At least, we think that it's Pokémon Puzzle Challenge- the IGN article keeps calling it Pokémon Puzzle League, which was, of course, on the Nintendo 64.

But basically, Nintendo are releasing a "double pack"- two games on one cartridge. Dr Mario, another puzzle game, and Pokémon Puzzle Challenge will both be enhanced for the GBA- so Dr Mario will be much prettier than the NES original, and Pokémon Puzzle Challenge will presumably look a bit better than the GBC version.

(Vaguely) interestingly, Pokémon Puzzle Challenge was actually a rebadged version of what was known as Tetris Attack.

IGN are somewhat unclear about when the release date is- although from what we can see, it looks as if it'll be released in both Europe and America simultaneously on November 5th!

To comment on this news, we asked two other famous doctors- Timelord, Doctor Who, and irritating minor celebrity, "Doctor" Neil Fox.

"Hmm... when playing these games, if I get into a tricky situation with no plausible way out, I'll use my handy sonic-screwdriver that will magically solve all of my problems!"

"I better not say anything, because every time I open my mouth, or even appear in public, it's like having seering acid thrown in your face for anyone who sees me."

Thank you, doctors.
