A further 6 more Pokemon DVDs are due for release in America this year, including the first D/P DVDs!

This news item is more than 45 days old. Updates are unlikely and newer information may already be available.

Once again, Viz Media have revealed their latest release list for September and October and it is packed with 6 DVD releases of Pokemon anime goodness!

First up is the 2nd Battle Frontier Boxset, which contains the rest of Season 9, including those lovely Anabel episodes. It is listed for the 16th September 2008, weighting in at $39.98 and 520 minutes (23 episodes). On a small note, the first Battle Frontier Boxset has been delayed till 29th July 2008 according to Amazon.com.

Also due on the 16th September are the first Diamond and Pearl DVDs! Quite unusual, they will be available as both 2 individual Volumes and a Boxset containing both volumes. The first volume contains DP episodes 1 to 8 while Volume 2 will have DP Episodes 9 to 17, meaning the boxset will surprisingly have 17 episodes. Each of the single volumes are priced at $14.98, while the boxset is listed for a bargain $24.98 (I know which option I am taking).

And finally, continuing what we reported last month, it seems more Pokemon All Stars DVDs are on the way. Volume 13 and 14 are due for release in October 28th 2008 with a runtime of 66 minutes and a price of $9.98 each.

Incase you did not catch all that, here is a handy list:

Guess its off to the importers for us UK folk...

And without the USA we would be speaking German. Then again, without the USA we wouldn't have lost so many men in Iraq... Either way, I wanna full Jhoto boxset.

Well, really it's Nintendo who are losing out. I have the DVDs released in the UK, i.e. a couple of films and the chronicles. But, if no more are released Nintendo will lose profit - youtube has quite a few videos!

swampert123: I was just pointing out that there's no point moaning about America getting everything while we're left dry. Complaining isn't going to do anything.
