Opposed to an old Pokémon game to be announced!

This news item is more than 45 days old. Updates are unlikely and newer information may already be available.

Pokémon Sunday on the Japanese TV Channel TV Tokyo is set to reveal a new Pokémon game next.. Sunday! It's a game that's meant to be centered around a lot of speculation.. sound like anything you know? Not only that, the said games will be revealed from golden and silver balls that were present during the announcement.

We here at PKMN.NET don't like to throw speculation around but only confirmed information, but given the facts of at least one (pair) of games that have been speculated for ages now, mostly from GameFreak's own 'hints' within the series and the the colour of the balls above, it wouldn't be unreasonable to make an educated guess of a Gold and Silver Remake.

That or Pokémon Snap 2

We'd like to stressed - NOTHING is confirmed and everything at this point is PURE speculation, no matter how convincing the 'evidence' seems. Well, it's convincing enough for a wave of Gold/Silver remake hype to be sweeping the fanbase with experts say that such signs include fans "screaming" and "posting a storm" as well as "Spinning on their chairs humming the Goldenrod theme."

Of course, any new Pokémon is a reason to be excited (unless its Mystery Dungeon) so lets embrace the possible openingly. Should we?

Make sure if do only one thing this week is to check back here on Sunday for a full report. In the meantime, we've gone over Pokémon's Sunday site but since its in Japanese, we've had to ask a man on the street (who looked sort of Japanese) to translate it for us. From what we could gather from the man, the site just said "Go away" which wasn't very nice.

Oh, it has to be done: LEDYBA CHAINIG 4 DA (POSSIBLE) GS REMAKE YEAH!

i hope it is a GS REMAKE. but i bet it will be something stupid like pokemon snap 2 or a remake of the TCG for GBA or new MD or ranger. one final note is that noone has said what console it will be for. all DS hopers might be dissapointed at a new DSI or wii game

its going to be a g/s/c remake i even have evidence ! 1: in d/p/p camraman saying he filmed shiny gyrados 2: in platinum, basement in depo store, RAGE candy bars are sold out.. heres hoping its a g/s/c remake !

shadowmon, that's hardly evidence... I mean there's a number of rerence to RS in the games as well... yeah.. it helps fuels speculation but hard evidence..

plenty of evidence if you ask me...look at the blubapedia article GS remake they have plenty. if it is i'm geting silver and choosing Totodile.

if it is a gs remake i wonder if they gunna add 4th gen pokemon w/ nat dex ? if they do id love to end up with all jhoto starters in my platinum ( so far i only got meganium from my emerald =/ )

ledyba, i evr said anything about evidenc. as a matter of fact i was saying that there is NO EVIDENCE of A GS remake NOW. i was pointing out there are 5 or 6 other posibilitys

well they didnt try and creat hype like this for the revealing of any of the mystery dungeon or ranger spin offs, so my bet is is that for a big kind of hype like this it would be something good like a new rpg pokemon game. (gs remakes).

No guys, lets not get our hopes high, it could be anything. Specially so soon after the Platinum release, so lets just cross our fingers and hope for a GOLD/SILVER remake. I am patiently going to be waiting for the best :)
