The image to the left is all we've seen on Pokemon Sunday this week. Just a silhouette. UPDATED!

This news item is more than 45 days old. Updates are unlikely and newer information may already be available.

Scans from Coro Coro magazine have been leaked unexpectedly early on the Japanese message board 2ch. There's nine of them, just take a look:

[1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] [8] [9]

Let's go through them one by one.

Image 1 gives us a look at the silhouette seen hours earlier. It's named Wooguru, it's a Normal/Flying typed bird. Its abilities are Keen Eye and Encourage, which boosts the power of its moves but prevents their side effects. It also knows Free-Fall, a two turn attack that picks up the target in the first turn, and drops it in the second.

The name Gochiruzeru for the witchy Pokemon has been confirmed, and we now know it's a Psychic type, 1.6m tall and with Magic Guard as a possible ability. The broccoli-Pokemon is still said to be Rankurusu. Kibago is the Japanese name for the brown Larvitar/Kangaskhan Pokemon and Koromori is the Psychic/Flying cloud with bat wings that reminds some people of Koffing. There's better art for these in Image 5, which also gives us a look at angry beaver Minezumi.

Image 2 not only shows up the pink piggy bank Munna, but also its expected evolution Mushaana, who is said to ahve something to do with some 'Dream Smoke'. This is apparently related to uploading your save file to the internet or something, but that's the vague ramblings that makes far more sense once we have the game. The image also features Makomo, who is the new professor's friend. Or so they say.

Image 3 and Image 4 show Black City and White Forest. The former will only appear in Pokemon Black, the latter only in Pokemon White, which indicates that there will be more differences between the game than ever before. Oh my.

Image 6 and Image 7 show a person we only know as 'N'. If Star Trek is anything to go by (and we firmly believe it is), this guy is a few steps away from being an omnipotent being who enjoys pranking people. Also, he says Pokemon are his friend. The previous may not be entirely true. Except for the friends thing, as that's what the scan says.

Last, Image 8 and Image 9 show you two childhood friends. One is a rather studious boy, while the other is a more bubbly female who, for some reason, looks like your rival and childhood male friend from the last game. Hmmm.

There's probably other things that you'll notice. Take a look for yourself, that's best! Bonus points for the cleverest needless observation.

UPDATE 12/07

Fancy some more leaked scans? How delightful!
