Cofagrigus? Wtf? How exactly does Woobat differ from Zubat? I like Gothitelle and Braviary though.

"How exactly does Woobat differ from Zubat?"

Besides being spelt differently, sounding different, meaning may be different, and generally not being called Zubat.. I don't know, you tell me. o.o

Axew. Sounds like a new way of descriptive speech: "I'm gonna axew!"
KHFan90 on Fri 14 Jan 2011 20:58:31 UTC.
Well obviously they're spelled differently, but come on, they obviously rhyme. They could've come up with a better name than Woobat. Or at least one that didn't rhyme with another Pokemon.
Ledyba on Fri 14 Jan 2011 21:51:34 UTC.
yeah sure they're ryhm, although you were asking me how they differ ;) I don't see the problem with the name, its distect enough not to be mixed up with Zubat, sure they may have been paying homage but I think its a nice name overall.

I don't think a more perfect word could be used to blend in than "woo". It matches perfectly with the heart gambit.

Interesting... don't really get why they changed Wargle, though. War+Eagle is english, but Braviary's cool too. Not sure about the love-bat though...
