Americans treated to English language demo discover even more localised names!

This news item is more than 45 days old. Updates are unlikely and newer information may already be available.

Recently the American division of Nintendo undertook a tour of the country where gamers were able to play an English-language demo of Black & White.

In this new names were found for moves, cities as well as for one Pokémon:

Darumakka loses one of it's ks and is now Darumaka.

In terms of moves:

Japanese NameEnglish Name
Shell BladeRazor Shell
Grass MixerLeaf Tornado
DevastateIncinerate
Nitro ChargeFlame Charge

Finally, Dragon Spiral Tower is deducted a space and becomes Dragonspiral Tower and Sekka City is renamed to Icirrus City which remains inkeeping with the our earlier suggestion of a cloud theme for the towns and cities.

For those who would like to see a video of what the English language version looks like then cast your eyes downwards.

Happy Sunday!
