Nidoqueen is sitting in the kitchen having an early breakfast

Nidoqueen: Good morning Purugly, you’re up early.

Purugly: I never really slept

Purugly rests her head on the table

Purugly: I find it hard to sleep away from my own comfortable bed. I’m more used to silk lined basket.

Nidoqueen: That must be nice, I’m just used to having lots of kids running around on a Sunday morning so I’m instinctively up early to make some breakfasts. Oh I’m being terribly rude – do you want some of my Mago Berries?

Purugly: Oh, no it’s okay. With this ability of mine I really have to watch what I eat. Feels like one of nature’s cruel jokes.

Nidoqueen: I hear that.

Purugly: I never asked, how many children do you have?

Nidoqueen: In total I’ve raised 7 but… *sigh*

Purugly: What is it?

Nidoqueen: They were all captured in the Safari Zone by other trainers and then when I got caught my trainer chose to evolve me very quickly… as such I am unable to have any more.

Purugly: I’m so sorry.

Purugly moves over and about to rest her hands on Nidoqueen’s shoulder only to have Nidoqueen bat it away.

Nidoqueen: Poison Point.

Purugly: Oh yes, I forgot.

Nidoqueen: It’s okay though. I mean who knows I may see some of them again one day and they would be all grown up too.

Purugly: I never had children. I guess I still could but… I don’t think I would be a good mother. I would be too selfish and probably get jealous of the attention.

Purugly laughs softly
