Empoleon | Conrad Conrad originated from Germany, meaning bold/brave/fearless ruler or counsel. This could work for a male Empoleon as his size and design relate to that of an emperor penguin, in which case emperor translates to ruler. An Empoleon also has little to fear in comparison to other starters, what with it's 11 resistances and all.
