Mewtwo Strikes Back- The Story
The story begins in a dream, the ancient Pokémon, Mew is
flying around, then we here a deep voice, 'Who am I...Where am I? I have dreamt of this
place as long as I remember...WHO ARE YOU?...WAIT!!...I will never forget...The wondrous
place where it flew away...who am I? What am I? I am ready to be! Where am I? This...This
is not the same! Was everything before just a dream? I have not even been born!'. The
voice was Mewtwo, the Pokémon scientists had dreamt up, by enhancing the DNA of Mew, an
enhanced, legendary Pokémon. At this point, this glass container which Mewtwo slept in
smashed open. Mewtwo used its psychic powers.
| All the scientists crowded around Mewtwo and
explained to Mewtwo that he was a clone and his name was Mewtwo, Mewtwo thinks to himself,
is he only here to be tested on, in this anger he destroys everything in the lab using his
psychic powers and flys off. (Yes we know he doesn't have wings he psychicly flys). Mewtwo
lands on an island and a helicopter lands. Giovanni, the leader of a Team Rocket, and his
Persian stepped out. Mewtwo knew that this Pokémon was a Persian. even though he'd never
been told. |

Giovanni tells
Mewtwo, that he knows how powerful he is, and together they could take over the world.
Mewtwo thought to himself, this human is different, he has a different motive. Mewtwo went
along with Geovanni to the Team Rocket HQ. Here he is put into a mechanical suit, with
'focuses' his powers, Mewtwo should learn to use his powers. Here Mewtwo is tested to see
how powerful he is. Each day, more Pokémon to defeat. Including when Gary comes to the
Gym you get the see his Nidoking and Arcanine get batered, (You may have seen this in the
TV show). After some weeks Mewtwo asks Giovanni why he is doing this. Giovanni tells him
that he is helping HIM take over the world, they are not partners. At this, Mewtwo becomes
VERY angry and flys of through the roof of the Gym, destroying it. (In the TV show, at
this point, Jesse and James walk up and talk, you see Giovanni yelling at them, he then,
with his Persian, climbs into the helicopter and flys off. I'm not sure if this is in the
movie).

Now, we cut to Ash, Misty and Brock, who are
making lunch. Misty says to Ash, 'You havn't done a thing all day!'. Ash replies,
"I'm to weak to work, Misty, I havn't eaten since Breakfast. Suddenly a trainer who
looks like a pirate asks Ash for a battle, Ash suddenly jumps up, ready for battle. Ash
say's, 'I'm to work, but a Pokémon battle isn't work!'. Brock states, 'Thats
progress...At least his mouth is working'. Ash sends out Bulbasaur and the Pirate trainer
sends out a Donphan! One of the new Gold and Silver Pokémon. Before the pirate trainer
could do anything |
Ash commands
Bulbasaur to use solar beam. BAM. Donphan gets knocked out and in classic Pokémon style,
the trainer says pathetically, "Donphan..." and runs up to it. Next, the trainer
uses Machamp and Ash uses his almighty(!) Squirtle... Amazinly it beats it using BUBBLE!!!
Now the trainer has become mad, he sends out a Venomoth, Golem and Pinsir, Ash and his
'brilliant' Pikachu uses eerrr...thundershock! And beats ALL 3!!! WOW!!! A passing Fearow
with a camera around its kneck flies by...
For an unknown
reason a Dragonite flies from some type of windmill and to Ash and friends. It gives them
out note which it takes out of a bag around its neck. It hands Ash a letter. When Ash
holds it out infront of him a hologram is projected into the air. It is an invitatation to
a speical gathering hosted by the worlds greatest Pokémon master at the palace on New
Island. The catch, they must apply at once. Without thinking, Ash says YES! The Dragonite
lifts it head prowdly and flies back to 'the worlds greatest Pokémon master'.
