A.J.

AJ is a very serious pokemon trainer, which Ash met early in his travels. He's tough in battle and works his Pokémon very much to acquire his desired affect. His Pokémon still respect him, however, and his methods work pretty well. He's won 100 battles or more during his time at the "tent" which he does all his training. His "tent" includes a moderately large pool. He has appeared once in the anime.

He was extremely skilled and his Pokémon could even withstand its weaknesses. For example, his Sandshrew could even dive underwater immune to its disadvantage. This made Ash thinking he was abusing Pokémon and attempted to take his pokemon away from the "tyrant" trainer. They simply ignored him, proving they truly hold respect for their trainer.

Not much is known about these three Rattatas. They certainly turned their noses up at Ash's offer to "rescue" them.

Sandshrew

Possibly AJ's first Pokémon as it is undoubtedly his strongest.
