Everyone who plays the Pokémon RPG will experience it at some point; you try catching a Pokémon, but it just won't stay in the Poké Ball. You mash the buttons, you clench your eyes and cross your fingers or sacrifce a sheep, but nothing will help you catch it. This is especially frustrating when you're trying to catch a rare beast such as a shiny or a legendary.
I will go on to discuss the balls themselves in another page, but here's some information about the Pokémon themselves. As you may have noticed, some Pokémon are easier to catch than others - the following tables show the order.

Ditto is slightly trickier here, and Chansey and Murkrow are trickier yet.

The legendaries (the birds, dogs and Mewtwo) are the trickiest of this group by a large margin.

i caught moltres ,articuno,zapdos,mewtwo and lugia in a pokeball and ho-oh in a great ball
i only used one dusk ball for moltres and snorlax and ho oh with one ultra ball the others with master balls
