The official Japanese site have posted some new information in regard to Pokémon Channel- thanks to Jelmer for the details.
It appears that in order to make a good TV channel, you must watch video clips and play games- makes you wonder why ITV's output is so dire, if it's that easy. Above, you can see Oak saying something about the downturn in TV advertising revenue, probably.
Of course, you have to make your TV channel, "together with Pikachu", and accordingly, Pikachu watches the TV and plays the games with you.
Programmes
Wobbuffet Quiz Show A studio based quiz of sorts. No further information exists other than what we can interpret from this 'shot. Maybe it could be a bit like TV Scrabble or Wob' could even take the place in Tim Vine in a Pokémon version of Whittle. |

Psyduck Nonsense News Network? In what appears to be a parody of the AOL Time Warner owned CNN. News reports are said to be of a more "human interest" nature, like ITV News. What this basically means is that instead of getting important news from the people who rule our lives, and see what's going on with national security, we get dire plugs for other ITV programmes, and news reports on David Beckham. Every bloody day. |

Slowpoke Weather Forecast Wouldn't a Castform be better suited to this? Looks like Slowpoke tells you the weather, without the use of bluescreen technology. |
|
Pikachu Watches TV You watch Pikachu, watching you, watching Pikachu. That, or we don't know at all what this could be. |
|
The Pichu Brothers short Of course, Pokémon Channel features a special Pichu Brothers cartoon that is full length and on the disc! |
Around the world
The Gamecube clock is finally being used! It's used for controlling the weather and Pokémon that appear around the world you play in. There are several locations including woods, the seashore and a mountain.
Other things
There is also a virtual Pokémon Mini- where you can play Pokémon Mini games. Apparently it is also a clever marketing trick- as it includes demos of other Pokémon Mini games. Nintendo have always been ones for clever marketing, with the saturation of adverts ever since the Gamecube has launched.
A "3D" cards feature is also present, they're called "Nice Cards", and you buy them in a virtual shop. It's a longshot, but maybe getting Pokémon for your RS game? Please?
There is also some sort of painting task where you can use a Smeargle's tail to paint pictures. Sounds like a laugh, probably.
Thanks to Jelmer for providing information, and thanks to Psythor for making the page!
