Perhaps
one of the most exciting things on the 14th April 2002 was that it confirmed the
there would also be a female trainer available- no one step forward two steps
back here then. You can see the female to the left, and if you need a reminder
of what the male looks like, he's to your right (obviously).

Above is what looks like some sort of desert/mountain scene. The wavy lines over the main thing could be one of three things, or even something else:
- Do the effects change depending on area?
- Is this another weather condition?
- Has a Pokémon used Sandstorm? Perhaps a mini quest is to stop it- just like the tedious tasks in the animé!
The
picture to the right is great- its our first glimpse of a town. Please note the
lines are something the magazine has added to point things out. Out of the two
buildings we can clearly see, one is the Pokémon centre and one is the
PokéMart. Also, notice how much bulkier the buildings seem- this may just be
inevitable though due to the game engine on the GBA.
Not much else is known at the moment, but be sure to check out BATTLE SCREENSHOTS and stay tuned to PKMN.NET for more details!
UPDATED! 11/08/02!
We now have the first screenshot of what is almost definately varying weather in action.
It shows an area similar to one of the screens previously released. The difference is, it is raining. Does this mean that the weater will change?
