In Ruby/ Sapphire, each Pokemon has it's own personality. You can view each of your Pokemon's personalities by looking at your Pokemon's Status. Personalities can have a positive or a negative effect on your Pokemon. For example, it could effect whether your Pokemons Stats grew quicker than normal or slower than normal. It could also affect your Pokemon's eating likes and dislikes towards certain tastes of berries. To check what a certain berry would taste like, then just look in your Pack at the Berry section, select a berry and go on Check Tag. Below is a table showing what taste of berry each Pokemon likes and dislikes. Remember, the type of berry you feed your Pokemon could affect their happiness.
