This is a guide concerning how to capture Rotom. It must be nighttime, and you must have obtained the National Dex.
If you haven't got them, go away and get it. Now. You're still there. Shoo!
Well, now he's gone, I can explain how to do it.
At night, go into Eterna Forest, and go immediately west until you see Gardenia standing outside so trees which you need to Cut.
She will talk to you, and then walk off, leaving you to go in. Creepy huh?
Cut the trees, and walk forwards, until you meet a sort of house from a long time ago. It's called Old Chateau.
Go in, and take the left staircase up. You may encounter some Ghost Pokémon here, so be careful.
Anyway, take the left staircase, and follow the path through, until you get to the door in the middle. Go through it.
Don't go straight forward into the door opposite you, but go left until you see another door (there are an awful amount of lefts in this!). Get ready to go through it, and have your Pokémon to fight Rotom with you in it.
Go up to the TV (Plasma TVs in that day? Am I missing something?) and press A against it. It should say something about a pair of red eyes, or a Pokémon staring at you, and then you'll be engaged in a battle with Rotom.
Rotom is an Electric/Ghost type Pokémon, which has Levitate as its ability, so it is impossible to use Normal, Fighting or Ground type moves on it. It is also pretty weak, at Level 15, so don't knock it out, as you only get one chance.
After you have weakened it, chuck a Pokéball or something at it, and hope that it captures it.
Woo! You've caught Rotom. Don't ask me why people are obsessed with capturing it, as it is a pretty bad Pokémon if you don't know how to use it.
But anyway, you've caught a Rotom. Give yourself a pat on the back.
Oh look, it's our friend who I sent away to get the National Dex. Have you got it yet? *Friend nods*
Well, I'm not writing the guide again. Read it yourself, and I hope you get a nice shiny Rotom for your collection. Maybe not shiny, because you'd have to be pretty darn lucky. But a normal Rotom will do.
Hope you enjoyed the guide, and might be if I'm not feeling too lazy, write some more.
Thanks to Lorem Ipsum for this!
