Just like in every generation, BW introduces new methods of evolving Pokémon. Even some new methods for evolving old Pokémon. Let's have a look!

Trade-With Evolution

Trade-with evolution is the single brand new evolution method introduced in Black and White. Two Pokémon in particular will only evolve into their respective evolutions when they are both traded at the same time:

Location Evolution

Initially introduced in DPPt, Black and White continue the technique of Location Evolution - Pokémon which evolve only when levelled up in a certain location:
