The PokéTransfer is not the only method via which you can transfer Pokémon from Gen IV games to Black and White. The Relocater lets you also do this, however it's use is slightly more limited. But a little bit more exciting as well. |
Head to Castelia City and to the most Northern alleyway. The building on the top left hosts a Gentleman on the 11F who will ask you to tell him a certain saying:
Everyone ã¿ã‚“㪠| Happy ãƒãƒƒãƒ”ー |
Simple ã‹ã‚“ãŸã‚“ | Connection ã¤ã†ã—ã‚“ |
This will then unlock The Relocator feature on the Main Menu. So, happy days! You've unlocked the Transfer Machine! To use it you will need 2 DS's. With the first load Black/White and select "Relocator" on the main menu. Then load the second with the cart inserted which you want to transfer from and on the main DS menu select "DS Download Play". This will then connect the 2nd DS to the 1st and the transfer process can begin! But what can you... actually do with it? Well, allow me to explain... |
Pokémon and Items
The Relocator only allows you to transfer event-specific Pokémon which can be used to unlock something special on Black/White. Additionally, it can be used to send over a previously seemingly-useless item from Gen IV:
Raikou |
Entei |
Suicune |
Celebi |
Lock Capsule |
Transfer your special Raikou, Entei or Suicune to Black/White and take it to the end clearing of the Illusion Forest. There you will see a woman who will eventually transform into Zoroark.
|
Transfer your special Celebi to Black/White and take it to the building in the alley to the right of the Pokémon Center in Castelia City. There you will see a little girl who will eventually transfer into Zorua.
|
The only item that you can transfer via The Relocator is the Lock Capsule. Take it to Mr Lock, located in Castelia City and he will explain that an item was locked inside it to protect it from Team Rocket. He will unlock it and present you with the contents: the rare TM95. |
