The Trainer Card

Do I want to look at your what?! Oh, Trainer Card? Sure, I'd much rather have your number though..

As you progress through the new region of Unova, you may find that your Trainer Card changes once or twice as you reach certain goals. But what are those goals? Never fear, PKMN.NET reveals all.

Trainer Card Colour
No Stars 1 Star 2 Stars 3 Stars 4 Stars 5 Stars
Green Purple Red Silver Gold Black/White

The Trainer Card will change colour upon you reaching the certain requirements, as well as displaying a star to show you've accomplished such. On the front of the card, you will see information such as your trainer name, your current amount of money, the number of points you have acquired and the number of Pokémon in your Pokédex.

On the back of your trainer card, the date you started your Pokémon journey, your trainer ID and your game time you can find, along with the signature strip that made it's debut in Generation IV.

When you start your Pokémon journey, you'll find that your Trainer Card takes a lovely Green colour. This changes as you reach certain accomplishments, which can be done in any particular order. However, what colour your Trainer Card takes is down to the amount of accomplishments you have achieved, so it'll always progress in the same order.

So, you ask me, "what colours will my trainer card change to", and "what do I need to do to do so"? Well..

The first accomplishment you'll probably achieve is beating the Elite Four. You can find information on how to beat the Black and White Elite Four right here on PKMN.NET. It's easy. Trust me.

The next star is gained by collecting all of the Pokémon Musical Goods. Quite a strange one this I guess, although not dissimilar to having to get a Master Ribbon for all of the types in Ruby and Sapphire. I guess..

Your third star could possibly be gained by obtaining all of the High Link powers, collected by completing missions in the High Link and purchasing them by using your well earnt Deruballs. Whatever they are.

Typically, there's a Battle Tower task for you to complete to get that 4th star; getting a 49 battle streak in both the Super Single and Super Double lines in the Battle Subway. Oh, good, that'll be.. fun.. and certainly easy..

Your final task will be to complete the National Pokédex. Don't forget, there is the Online Pokédex to help you on your way with that, because you most certainly will probably need some help with that.. -gulps-
