In the Eastern road of Castelia City, enter the top-left building and talk to the girl with purple hair. Once a day she will give one of your Pokémon a massage, boosting its happiness.

In the Central road of Castelia City, enter the building on the right and speak to the Clown. Everyday he will request to see a different type of Pokémon. Show him the type he is looking for and he will give you a selection of berries. Since there are no berries growing anywhere in Unova, this is one of the only ways to get berries in the game.

On the Northern Road of Castelia City, enter the building on the left and on the ground floor speak to the bald man. He is the Unova Name Rater, and can change the nicknames of any Pokémon you have caught.

In the Gear Station (located in the centre of Nimbasa City), speak to the first man you see as soon as you enter and he can tell you a little bit about your Pokémon's IVs. He will tell you which IV a Pokémon is highest in, and give that IV a rating based on how high it is.

Inside the Mistralton City Pokémon Center is a man who can tell you what type a Pokémon's Hidden Power attack is.

In the house east of the Mistralton City Pokémon Center, speak to the man in the top-right of the room and he can make your Pokémon forget any move which you wish. This is the only way in which to delete any HM moves from your Pokémon.

In the house east of the Mistralton City Pokémon Center, speak to the woman in the top-left of the room and he can make your Pokémon remember any attacks which they have previously tried to learn. He charges 1 Heart Scale per move remembered.

In the North-West Pokémon Fan Club of Icirrus City, speak to the lady stood next to the Munna and she will give you a rough idea as to how happy your Pokémon are. This can be useful when you are trying to evolve a Pokémon which evolves via happiness.

In the Icirrus City Pokémon Center, speak to the man dressed in a brown hat. He will buy items such as Nugget and Pearl from you, but will give you twice the price offered by PokéMarts!

In Opelucid City you will find a girl who will check the EV values of your Pokémon. She will give a ribbon to any Pokémon who have maxed out EVs.

In the villa located in the west of Undella Town you will find a man who will purchase and display all of the Ancient Items you find in the Abyssal Ruins.
