Just a couple of notes about your PC Storage Boxes. Because there's been a couple of changes!
The Box Enigma
When you excitedly rip the cellophane off your brand new game next week and jam it into your DS, you might immediately decide to start exploring. Only to find that due to budget cuts, you now only have access to 8 boxes in which to store your Pokémon.
Quick maths here. 8 boxes x 30 Pokémon in each = erm... 240 Pokemon altogether!
Now with 649 different beasts to catch now, you might have worked out that this is a bit of a problem. You may respond to this in a number of ways. You may try and return the game only to discover that, since you've played on it, you're a bit buggered in that department. You may try and shake your cartridge hard in the hope a few more boxes randomly appear. You might even cry before setting off to London to machine gun down a few investment bankers.
There are however laws against such actions. But fear not! The solution is deceptively simple. Wait until you've caught at least 8 different Pokémon and then place one Pokemon in each of the 8 boxes. Close the PC and reopen it, and :o what's this? ANOTHER 8 boxes? How exciting! And this still isn't enough, repeat the trick with shoving at least one Pokémon in each of your 16 boxes and the 16 boxes will magically expand to become a full 24 boxes. That's 720 spaces. That's better.
Battle Box
When you log onto your PC you may spot a rather interesting and new feature on the main menu, known as Battle Box. This allows you to effectly create a party within your box - a collection of Pokémon which you can set to automatically use in Wi-Fi battles. This allows you to just enter Wi-Fi battles and automatically have the team you want to use appear for you, meaning you don't have to spend hours searching for that damn Lapras that you temporarily put in your PC and now can't find.
