Let me guess, you've got all the time in the world now you've got those spiffin' 16 League Badges? Ah, so you have? As in the original Pokémon Gold and Silver, there are still the Daily Events that differ from day to day, allowing a continuation of your game, even after you've beaten Red. So, you ask me, which days do what kind of events occur on?

Daily Events - Johto

Each Day

Pokémon Lottery - Goldenrod Underground Path - In the Radio Tower, you'll find that there is a woman at the Reception who'll check your Pokémon's IDs for a matching Lottery Number. This is reset Daily, so check back every day to stand a chance of winning. The main prize, should you have a perfect match, is a Masterball, although there are smaller prizes available.

Buena's Password Show - Goldenrod Radio Tower - Once gaining the Blue Point Card from her assistant, you'll be able to tune in at various times of the day to Buena's Password Show to find out a password. With this password, you'll be able to answer a question upon talking to Buena, rewarding you with points. These points can be exchanged by talking to the assistant. The times of the day when you can listen to her show are; 2am, 5am, 8am, 11pm, 2pm, 5pm, 8pm and 11pm.

Swarming Pokémon - Route 1 - Each day, upon listening to Professor Oak's Pokémon Talk Radio show, you'll find out as to which Pokémon are swarming in Johto. These Pokémon are usually Pokémon who you cannot normally find, or extremely rare to find on that route, so it's worth keeping an ear out to see which Pokémon are Swarming on which day.

Pokémon Seals - Olivine City - After healing the Miltank on Route 38, at the MooMoo Farm, you'll be given a Seal Case as a reward. Once you've obtained that, you'll be able to find a young girl in a house in Olivine who'll give out 3 seals every single day.

Pokéathlon Prizes - Pokeathlon Dome - The prizes for the Pokéathlon happen to change every single day, so it's perhaps best to save your Points up to get that prize you really want. In each table, the first 6 items are available before the National Dex is obtained, the rest are only unlocked upon gaining such.

Bargain Shop - Goldenrod Underground Path - Only open on a Monday morning, the Bargain Shop offers items at surprisingly bargain prices, the majority of which you can sell onto the main Pokémarts for double your money. What a way to earn such cash to drug your Pokémon up to the high heavens with!

S.S. Aqua - Olivine City - On a Monday, you can jump onto the SS Aqua at Olivine City, with it's departure being the Kanto city of Vermillion. The Ship resets it's trainers each time, so it's a great way to gain more experience.

Rival Rematch - Indigo Plateau - Once you and your rival have beaten Clair and Lance at the Dragon's Den, he will be waiting here for a battle. He'll challenge you as you approach the 2nd floor, packing a team of Lv50s, so he's great for experience. And of course, wiping the floor with.

Tuesday

Bug Catching Contest - National Park - On a Tuesday you can participate in the Bug Catching Contest. The Prizes and Pokémon differ from day to day, so be sure to participitate in all of them to get the Pokémon you want!

Hairdresser (Older Brother) - Goldenrod Underground Path - On a Tuesday, you'll find the more experienced Hairdresser in the tunnel underneath Goldenrod, waiting to spice your Pokémon's looks up. Why is he underground? Probably because he charges 500P for a haircut.

Wednesday

Hairdresser (Younger Brother) - Goldenrod Underground Path - On a Wednesday, you'll find the younger, inexperienced Hairdresser in the tunnel underneath Goldenrod, waiting to spice your Pokémon's looks up. You'd have thought though, after going back a few times, he'd become experienced..

Hoenn Sound - None Specific - If you tune your radio into the Hoenn sound on a Wednesday, you may well find on some routes that some Pokémon native to Hoenn may pop up and say hello. Until you catch them, of course.

Lapras - Union Cave - After gaining the ability to Surf, which'd be after beating Morty, you'll be able to reach these Lv20 Lapras in the basement of the Union Cave. The best thing is that even if you capture it, or knock it out, another one comes back the next week. Must be the water there..

Monday

Clefairy Dance! - Mount Moon - From 8pm until Midnight, if you go to that open area in the middle of Mount Moon, you'll find a collection of Clefairy. Instead of thinking "Ooh, rare Pokémon, catch", you let them go, but your reward for letting them live on in the wild is a Moon Stone one of them has left behind for you to take.

Tuesday

Nothing Important Happened Today~ - Why not take the spare time to chill out, or reminiscing of the days when Mewtwo was truely the greatest of them all?
