Ash and the gang are back in Ecruteak. Woo.
As they eat, Misty reveals that she's arranged to meet Sakura, a trainer they previously met who had an Eevee. They suddenly see an Espeon run towards them! Sakura herself follows, and reveals that the Espeon is actually her Eevee, who has now evolved.
Brock points out that Sakura and her four sisters now have all five Eevee evolutions between them. Full set!
Just for fun, the group visit Sakura's sisters, who are getting ready for a dance tutorial with their favourite instructors. Brock goes a bit mental at the dilemma facing him; namely that there are four sisters and he can't bear to choose one.
Sakura asks Misty for a battle; she wants her Espeon to experience battles with all sorts of Pokémon. It also gives Brock an excuse to play referee again. Misty decides to use her new Corsola for the fight.
Meanwhile, Sakura's sisters are greeted by the dance instructors - two of them, in fact, whose favoured dance partners are Arbok and Victreebel. The Victreebel, however, prefers to attack its partner to dancing with him. Hmm.
Meanwhile, Espeon causes Corsola some pain. Corsola uses Recover. Sakura is impressed.
Jessie and James, in their dance instructor disguises, explain to the sisters that they're very good dancers, but that their Pokémon need private lessons. The sisters allow their Pokémon to follow Team Rocket into the back room. When they get there, however, a trapdoor opens which cages the four Pokémon. The familiar Meowth balloon takes off as Jessie and James shed their costumes and chant the motto.
Misty and Sakura relax after their fight, and Misty tells her the story of getting Corsola from Yellow Rock Isle. The crew return to find the sisters despairing over their stolen Pokémon. Brock sends Crobat to search from the sky.
Meanwhile, Team Rocket discover a tragedy! They only have Flareon, Vaporeon, Umbreon and Jolteon - they're missing a full set! Being the perfectionists that they are, they want Espeon as well.
Fortunately, Sakura has already guessed that they'll want the full set, and suggests using Espeon as bait. Espeon is left alone, watched from a distance by the gang.
Team Rocket spot Espeon from their balloon. They try to tempt it into a cage with food, but with Espeon being the psychic that it is, it doesn't enter the cage. It finds its friends in the bushes instead. James tries to sneak up on it, but its psychic powers alert it to move again.
Arbok and Victreebel attack! Corsola joins in the fray, and they fight for a bit. Pikachu gets over-excited and shocks the Rockets into the sky. Espeon's Swift attack opens the cage and frees its friends.
Sakura decides to take a leaf out of Misty's book and leave her sisters to pursue an adventure. She declines Misty's offer of joining them, saying that she wants to go to Violet City. They part ways.
