May is in her room packing all of her stuff. Ash walks in and begins to yell and insult her, telling her that they need to leave right now. May causes Ash to fall over and when Ash finally gets back up, he continues to yell and shout at May. May answers Ash sarcastically, saying how sorry she is. You may have guessed it, Ash starts yelling some more.

Ash, May, Max, Brock and Pikachu start walking down the road to Fortree city, and May starts to complain about Ash and his temper! Ash then starts to argue back at May and Max asks Brock when all of it would end. Brock says that it might not! Suddenly, two people appear from the road. The two people introduce themselves as Oscar and Andrew. Andrew, being a girl, attracts Brock at first sight.

Oscar and Andrew tell Ash and May that fighting is a sign of love, Ash and May totally disagree. Oscars and Andrew suggest that they should have a double battle, so they challenge Ash and May.

Oscar and Andrew begin to explain about Tag Battles, and Brock again tries to flirt with Andrew. Max pulls him away. Oscar declares the match ready.

Oscar releases Nidoking. As normal, Ash scans the Nidoking with his Poke'dex. Andrew releases Nidoqueen and this time, May scans Nidoqueen with her Poke'dex. Nidoking and Nidoqueen are a great experience for Max, as he says how excited he is to see them in battle.

Ash thinks of type advantages, and suddenly thinks of Corphish, so he releases it, he starts to become impatient with May, because she is taking along time to send out her Poke'mon. After Ash shouts at her, May finally sends out Skitty.

Ash starts things off, telling Corphish to use Bubblebeam. Skitty uses Assist. Assist turns out to be ember, but both of the attacks collide with each other and cancel each other out.

As you may think, Corphish is unhappy at this and starts to scream at Skitty. Skitty starts to scream at Corphish, but ends up burning him with an ember. May and Ash begin to argue, allowing Nidoking and Nidoqueen to use Mega Punch on Corphish and Skitty, knocking them back.

Ash and May order their Poke'mon to attack. Skitty uses Blizzard, but on Corphish instead and it freezes it. May is shocked, and tells Skitty to defrost Corphish with and ember assist, but the assist turns out to be string shot, which just wraps up Corphish.

Another assist is used, but it becomes a gust and carves a sculpture out of Corphish. Skitty finally gets an ember assist, but it does more that melting Corphish, it burns him.

Corphish chases Skitty around the battlefield. May tells it to stop but Ash refuses, as he is mad at May for freezing and burning its battle mate. May thinks that Corphish shouldn’t of got in the way and they both scream some more. Nidoking, Nidoqueen, Oscar and Andrew watch in despair, and Oscar and Andrew decide to finish them off with a rollout. Nidoking and Nidoqueen join together and use rollout, knocking Skitty and Corphish out.

Brock declares Oscar and Andrew the winners. Oscar and Andrew congratulate each other, say goodbye to Ash and co, and run off.

Team Rocket are depressed as their first Hoenn base was destroyed. Meowth thinks that giving the boss Pikachu would regain their honour. Then Oscar and Andrew appear and ask the three Rockets if they would like a double battle. Meowth and James immediately refuse, but Jessie accepts. She whispers to James that if they weaken Nidoking and Nidoqueen , they could catch them and give them to the boss. Meowth and James gladly accept now!

Jessie and James release Seviper and Cacnea. Oscar and Andrew release Nidoking and Nidoqueen. Jessie calls Seviper to use wrap. But Nidoking and Nidoqueen use mega punch on Cacnea, this sends him flying back into Seviper. Seviper accidently wraps Cacnea, and Jessie and James starts to scream at them. Meowth tells them to quit arguing and start battling. Nidoking and Nidoqueen use Hyper Beam, which sends Jessie, James, Meowth, Seviper and Cacnea blasting off again.

Along the river, Ash and May are still arguing. Jessie and James are also arguing about each others battling.

Ash, May, Max, Brock, Jessie and James find each other. Both sets of people say that they could do better with a different partner. Jessie grabs May and James grabs Ash, they declare them as their new partners. Ash and co are shocked at this.

Ash and James are using Corphish and Cacnea, while Jessie and May are using Seviper and Skitty. Ash and James say that they will work together, so do May and Jessie.

Jessie tells Seviper to use poison tail on Corphish. May tells Skitty to use Blizzard on Cacnea. James tells Cacnea to use Pin Missile on Skitty and Ash tells Corphish to use Protect. Seviper’s poison tail doesn’t hit Corphish, as Corphish is protected by a protect attack. Cacnea’s pin missile doesn’t hit Skitty, as Skitty’s blizzard collides with it, and both Poke'mon are hit.

Seviper and Cacnea manage to hit each other. James is very happy. A Bubblebeam hits Skitty from Corphish. Seviper tries to bite Corphish, but Corphish dodges and uses a Crab Hammer on Seviper.

Skitty runs to Cacnea, but she is sent back by a pin missile. Jessie is so angry, she decides to cheat, she sends out Dustox. May is shocked at Jessie’s actions. Dustox uses gust and Ash and Jame’s Poke'mon are blown away. Wobbufett comes out of it’s Poke'ball. Seviper hit’s Corphish with a poison tail. Dustox attack Cacnea with gust.

Seviper wraps Corphish. Corphish uses bubblebeam on Jessie, so as Jessie runs, she steps on Skitty’s tail, and it uses Blizzard on her, although Jessie runs behind James and he gets frozen solid!

Skitty launches and ember, burning both Jessie and James. Cacnea, Seviper, Dustox, Skitty and Corphish just go wild, attacking everyone!

Meowth jumps onto a rock to try to get Jessie and James’s attention. James has Seviper use Sandstorm and Seviper use Smog. In the middle of the sand, Team Rocket snatch Pikachu. When the smoke clears, Ash sees them.

Team Rocket does their Motto. Ash tells Pikachu to attack, but the net is shockproof. Skitty uses Assist, which turns out to be a string shot, which trips Team Rocket up. Cacnea tries to attack Skitty with Pin Missile, but Corphish stands in front of Skitty and uses Harden. May thanks Ash. Skitty uses Double slap on Cacnea, Seviper, Dustox, Jessie, James and Meowth, releasing Pikachu. Skitty freezes Team Rocket with Blizzard and Corphish sends them blasting off with a crab hammer.

Ash thinks May is great at double battles, and May thinks that Ash is also great. They both keep complimenting each other instead of arguing. Finally, the gang continue to Fortree city.
