After the title, we find the gang walking in a forest on the way to The Banana Slakoth Garden. May was walking ahead reading the guidebook and trying to decide which desert she'd have first. Ash asked how she was going to have room to eat all of that but was cut off when Max exclaimed that he can see the whole Garden from the little ledge he was standing. The Garden was a large forest of different kinds but especially Banana with buildings in clearings with paths all over the place.

We now find the gang in front of the closed gates of the Garden. Brock said that it must be closed but Max whined that he really wanted to see the Slakoth! Ash noticed that the gates weren't chained together and moved them slightly. May decided to go in to look around and the others reluctantly followed her.

They are now walking through the Garden on a large path. Max said that there's no Slakoth and May added that all the bananas were gone too. Brock noted that the bananas had been picked cleanly off the trees. Ash started to wonder who could have done that when the ground started to shake violently.

There was a stomping noise and the noise of trees falling followed soon after. The ground started to calm down and May asked that she wanted to know what that was but Ash replied he had no idea. The ground started to shake yet again and a large crack began to appear under where the gang were standing. A man with a French Accent runs up to them and said that it wasn't safe out there and told them to follow him and that's what they did. They all ran to a dome shaped building and entered it.

The doors close automatically behind them and now inside Max said that that Earthquake came out of nowhere but the man corrected him and said that it wasn't an Earthquake and showed the gang the real culprit. It was a Snorlax!

May gets out her pokedex and a Snorlax popped up on it; Max said that he's surprised that the man whom had saved them had enough food to feed the Snorlax but the man admitted that he didn't. The man explained that it was a disaster; the Snorlax had moved in uninvited and had scared all of the Slakoth away and eaten their bananas. He came to the conclusion that soon there will be no bananas left. He finally added that the Slakoth had hidden themselves in a distant part of the Garden and were too scared to come out.

The man realised that he hadn't introduced himself and said that he was Director Marcel. The ground started to shake again and Marcel said that even asleep that Snorlax was a menace! The gang realise that Snorlax had been moved out of its own territory; Marcel is amazed that they know so much about Snorlaxes and Ash explained that he owns one but it is kept at Professor Oak's Laboratory. Marcel is very impressed and said that they must be Snorlax experts! The gang decided to help get rid of the Snorlax and help the Slakoth!

Outside, Team Rocket was in a tree observing the Snorlax. They quickly realised that Snorlax was a rare Pokémon and they decided that they were going to steal it and give it to the Boss as a present. Meowth explained that the Boss would wake up all cranky in the morning because he hadn't had any breakfast yet when there would be a ring of the doorbell; there would be a big box wrapped in ribbon and out would jump a Snorlax! The Boss would be very impressed after Snorlax had picked him up so he could see the sunrise and he would give them a promotion! Team Rocket decided that this was the best course of action and they celebrated.

Back inside, the gang and Marcel were watching CCTV monitors of Snorlax in a large room. May suggested that they should scare Snorlax but Brock disagreed and said that it wouldn't work - almost nothing scares Snorlaxes. The ground shuck once more and then Ash came up with an idea. They'd catch Snorlax! Brock said that they'd have to do it before Snorlax has fallen asleep again but after it's eaten and explains why. Max exclaimed that Snorlax had woken up again was on the move yet again; Ash decided that this was the time to strike!

Outside, Snorlax is yet again eating the Bananas that belong to the Slakoth. The gang and Marcel have caught up with Snorlax. Ash challenged it to a fight but Snorlax didn't look too concerned and just continued eating. Ash sent out Pikachu to fight Snorlax nonetheless! Pikachu went in for a Thunder Bolt but it had no effect, Snorlax just kept eating. Pikachu then went in for an Iron Tail but yet again it had no effect. Snorlax uses Yawn Attack and pink bubbles are shot out of its mouth; they then burst next to Ash, he then yawned and collapsed asleep. The same thing had happened to Pikachu. May and Max ran over to them both to try and wake them up but Snorlax used Yawn Attack again and sent not just them two to sleep but Brock and Marcel too! Soon, Snorlax was asleep and everyone was snoring.

Floating over the dome shaped building was Team Rocket in their hot air balloon that had a new pincer section added on to the bottom of the basket. Team Rocket exclaimed that they were going to be millionaires but Jessie stopped and said that if they were going to be promoted they would need a new uniform. They started to contemplate this as their balloon floated towards their target. They noticed that 'The Twerps' had fallen asleep and they lowered their pincer claw towards the Snorlax but it used Yawn Attack and they also fell asleep. Meowth slipped on the controls of the pincer and it backfired and exploded the balloon! Team Rocket fall into the bushes below while still sleeping!

After the Trainer Choice, we are now back inside and Professor Oak was laughing on a giant picture phone. Ash whined that it wasn't funny and Professor Oak apologised. Brock said that was why they needed his help. Professor Oak explained that he had made a new type of Pokeblock especially for Snorlax and Pokémon like it and demonstrated on Ash's Snorlax. He said that one piece of Pokeblock was equivalent to 300 pounds of Pokémon food! Professor Oak continued and said that they will still have to catch Snorlax but with a Pokémon that couldn't be affected by Yawn or other similar attacks. Max said that that was Vigoroth and explained why. The gang and Marcel decided that they needed to get one of the Slakoth to evolve and then to battle Snorlax!

The gang and Marcel and walking towards where he believes the Slakoth are hiding from the Snorlax. Once they have gotten there, Marcel started to plead with the hiding Slakoth for just one of them to help them and get rid of Snorlax once and for all. It seemed that it hadn't worked until a Slakoth - with a rather determined expression - jumped out of the bushes and out of hiding to help them. Marcel quickly ran up to the Slakoth and hugged it; now the training began.

The gang and Marcel with the Slakoth are now outside the dome shaped building from before and Ash was battling Slakoth with Pikachu, Grovyle and Torkoal to help it evolve. The Slakoth is very hardy during its battles but after one final Scratch Attack on Grovyle it started to glow white and started to evolve! Everyone was ecstatic but Marcel said that the hardest part was yet to come and Vigoroth nodded as it understood and was ready to battle.

Once more we found ourselves with Snorlax continuing to munch happily on the bananas. The gang approach Snorlax with Marcel and Vigoroth leading the party. Marcel confronted Snorlax and challenged it to a battle. Vigoroth quickly jumped into action. Snorlax used Yawn Attack but Vigoroth easily burst the bubbles while running through them and used a Scratch attack. Snorlax fell down but got straight back up and used Hyperbeam! Vigoroth dodged but Snorlax used Yawn again. Once more, Vigoroth dodged the attacks and used Scratch Attack, which had sent Snorlax flying again. Vigoroth believed it had won but Snorlax rose again and was very angry indeed. Vigoroth used Focus Energy while Snorlax had jumped up for a Body Slam. Just before Snorlax hit, Vigoroth used Focus Punch and knocked out Snorlax. Marcel quickly threw his pokéball and caught the Snorlax! Out of nowhere, the Slakoth appear and they jumped all over Marcel and Vigoroth and praised and hugged them both.

Outside the gates of the Banana Slakoth Garden - which now had a new sign that included the new Vigoroth on the top - fire works were going off. There were lots of people in the Garden and they were playing with the Slakoth. Inside the dome shaped building for one finally time, the gang were talking to Marcel whom has his new Vigoroth by his side. Max said that everything was back to normal and Brock added that the Banana Slakoth Garden was like brand new. Marcel corrected him however and said that he was now going to call it the Banana Slakoth and Vigoroth Garden! May asked that she had heard about Banana deserts and was wondering where they were and Marcel gladly showed her and she gladly dug in. Brock asked Marcel what he had done with the Snorlax and he decided to show them. Marcel had made a Snorlax Relaxation room where people could come for a rest and could be recharged with Snorlax's Yawn Attack. The gang were very happy that Snorlax had finally found a good home.

Outside the gates of the Garden with the sun setting, the gang said their goodbyes to Marcel and his new Vigoroth and continued on their journey to Lilycove City and the ferry to Ash's next gym battle. Meanwhile, the spotlight now landed on Jessie, James and Meowth. They sang a different version of their motto while wearing their new uniforms. Black and purple knee length coats with a red R on them. We, however, go to the bushes where Team Rocket had landed before and find them still sleeping there dreaming of their new uniforms and that was were the episode ended.
