Then they all had a flashback from when they were in the academy. The students all wore red uniforms, instead of white and black. In the academy Jessie was in a lot of trouble with the boss at academy. She didn't get on with any of her partners and they ended up in hospital, because she didn't listen to them, ignored them and bossed them around. Some of them left because they were fed up of her and her attitude problems. Her instructor (with punk hair) consulted the boss in his office. He asked him if there was any more students to partner with her. The boss said she'll have one more chance with another partner and if she blows it, she'd be kicked out of the academy for good.

Jessie and Cassisy were in the Gym on treadmills side by side. They were trying to outdo each other and kept running faster growling at each other until the machines were sparking like mad. After the Gym, they were in an empty changing room. Jessie was sitting on the bench cooling down, while Cassidy was at her locker. She said, "Awwwww. Was that too much for you hon? Don't worry, I'm sure you'll find a partner eventually." Jessie got angry as Cassidy left the room smirking.

Then, the Instructor found Jessie and took her outside. He said there was another partner available and she complained. He introduced her to James and he said something like "Hello Punk" He had his foot on the wall, looking vain like he usally does. Then Jessie wonders if they'll get on and says "Don't forget, I'm the boss around here," They then walked off together.

Meowth then appeared at the academy with a bundle on a stick. He wanted to be a team rocket agent and someone took him to Giovanni (the boss). He walked through the door into Giovannis office, immediately saw the persian and feeling jealous, he starting acting all macho. He said he needed to work. A second later, he had munched his way through a massive bowl of cat food and asked for more. At this point, the boss was really fed up with meowth and shouted at him and ordered him to get the boss a cup of tea. Meowth came back with the cup and spilt it and burnt himself and dropped the cup altogether. The boss just wanted to get him out of his office and finally decided to put him with Jessie and James.

Meowth found Jessie and James and they immeadiatly thought that he was weird. They all thought 'well a team is a team.'

The Instructor found Jessie, James and Meowth, and told them that they were to go on a dangerous assault course the next day. It would require full teamwork and trust and they would have to eat and drink wisely and it would take two days and all they could have was one bottle of water and one loaf of bread.

The next day, they were at the starting line and the Instructor blew the whistle. They were of climbing up walls and through nets. They were helping each other up the walls. Eventually, they had to wade across a river. Meowth was lazy throughout the whole thing and said to James, "Cats can't swim," so James carried him across. At the end, Meowth, being very foolish, ate all of his bread and wasted the water, pouring it on himself, while he was sitting RIGHT next to the river.

It drew nearer to night time and soon they found a spot in the wood to sleep. A fire was lit and Jessie had some bread and some of her water. Meowth, who had already eaten his bread, complained of hunger. James said, "Oh, have mine, I'm not hungry," and gave Meowth his bread. Jessie was just about to bite into her bread, but stopped and said, while Meowth was scoffing selfishly, "Come on James, you have to eat something, because you'll need your strength for tomorrow." James, who was lying down by the fire replied, "Well, maybe I'm just a little bit hungry," and Jessie broke her bread in half and gave James one half and ate the other herself. They all then talk about how if they passed, they may even become the best team out of all of them if they tried hard enough (Everyone knows they end up being the worst!). They all get into their sleeping bags and go to sleep.

The next morning, they came to a very weak bridge across VERY HIGH cliffs, where the river was about a quarter of a mile below them! The bridge looked like it was about to collapse as soon as you stepped on it! Jessie sais that if they all sticked together, them they'd make it. James looked very unsure about crossing it. Jessie said, "Come on, or we'll never get back after all the way we've gone!" They all followed her onto the bridge, with it creaking and swaying. Not long later, the bridge capsised over and snapped and they were hanging on to the bridge by the wooden rail! Jessie wass holding on, with meowth below her and James hanging by Meowth's tail, over a very long drop. They were struggling to hold on and Jessie's hand was slipping. Then James said, "You don't need me, you can go on without me," Jessie, knowing what he meant, cried, "James, no!" "Sorry," he replied and let go of Meowth's tail and fell into the river. Jessie and Meowth looked away in regret.

Then Jessie and Meowth are outside an operating theatre looking through the glass, where James was bandaged up completely, with no skin at all to be seen, apart from his hair! He was surrounded by two surgeons, discussing when he should be well again. They didn't know at all when he'd be OK again! Jessie, looking very shocked and upset uttered, "Poor James."

Inside the classroom, Butch, Cassidy and their Raticate are at the left of the classroom and Jessie is on her own on the right, feeling very dazed, moving her pencil around on the table, not paying attention to the instructor at all. Cassidy and Butch were making fun of her, because James was injured and she was on her own, with just Meowth. Then the Instructor explained their task. They had to sneak into the museum at night and steal the legenadary 'Red Snorlax' from a highly secured room. They had to air lift it out before midnight and before they were caught, or they would fail. Butch put his hand up to ask a question, "Uh, Sir," "Yes Biff," he replied, getting the name wrong (Everyone always gets Butch's name wrong and he gets VERY hot-headded). "It's Butch, right you got it? Butch. Anyway, what happens if you do get caught?" "Well, you'll immeadiatley fail the course and be wearing stripes for the rest of eternity," replied the Instructor. Cassidy then nastily said to Jessie, "I think stripes would suit Jessie perfectly, wouldn't they honey. I just hope they have your size."

Later that night, Jessie and Meowth set out on the task, on their way to the Museum. Jessie sighs, "If only James were here to help us," and James was standing by a tree, posing the exact same way as when they first met him, but this time, his was covered in bandages. Jessie did not notice him at all, until he said, "Who said I was not coming?" and pulled off his bandages. "But James, you're hurt!" cried Jessie. "That doesn't stop me helping out my team mates!" he replied and then ran towards the museum.

A clock appeared and the time was about 20 minutes to 11pm. The team rocket song came on ('Team rockets' rockin') and they made their way down a corridor, while butch and cassidy went down another. Some floor pannels dropped and James nearly fell down the hole. They managed to hit a pipe and water came flooding down Butch and Cassidy's corridor and they were swept down it!

At the end of the corridors, Jessie and Cassisy made it at the same time and the doors opened. "Jessie," shouted Cassidy. "Cassidy," replied Jessie.

Butch and Cassidy, being VERY foolish, ran out towards the red snorlax without watching what they were doing. "Come on Butch," shouted Cassidy. "It's Butch not- Oh, that's what you said!" The floor opened up in front of them and they fell down it. Then the hole closed up. James, not thinking about what had happened, ran out towards the snorlax. "James, there could be more traps," cried Jessie, but it was too late, a hole opened up and James was just about fall down it, when he grabbed Meowth's tail. Meowth's claws were sliding off the edge slowly. At this point, the alarm sounded. Then, Jessie grabbed him, as they were just about to fall. They were in the same sitation as before and James, like before, decided to let go again. "Jessie, you have to go on without me. If you stay like this, they'll catch you, and you'll be wearing stripes for the rest of eternity!" "No you dont!" shouted Jessie as James let go of Meowth's tail. Luckily, this time she caught him and pulled him up. "Maybe we are better as a team then."

They air-lifted the cage, containing the red snorlax through the roof. They had just about got it through, when an alarm clock inside the snorlax's cage rang. The snorlax woke up and pressed the off button. He pulled off his head and the Instructor was revealed. It was all a fake, a costume. There was no red snorlax after all! It was just a test! "Your time is up! You've done well!" said the Instructor. Back in the classroom, Butch and Cassidy, were all in bandages and crutches, staring at Jessie, James and Meowth in hate and disgust. The Instructor gave them the results. "Even though they did not complete the task, they were very close, so I am awarding Jessie, James and Meowth agent status." Jessie and James were really excited. They could now leave the academy and start their jobs right away: "Butch and Cassidy, however, will be given 'VIT' or 'Villians in Training' status." Butch and Cassidy complained. "How could we lose to that Jessie and her team of twits!" Jessie, James and Meowth were really excited and were cheering for ages!

The flashback had finished and now they were back in the air. "Such great days, they were," said Jessie, almost crying. "Looks like Team Rockets' blasting off again," they chant.
