AR has discovered that on Sunday 13th October 2002 there will be an Up on the Roof special on GMTV. Its breaking with tradition- its actually showing Pokémon!

All over the country, terrestrial viewing Pokémon fans are celebrating as their favourite show will actually be on TV!

GMTV's non-Disney kids programme, "Up on the Roof" (Hosted and produced by Jamie Rickiers) will be having a special programme next Sunday between 10am and 11:30. An episode of Pokémon will be shown at 10:05.

At the moment, we are unclear to which episode will be shown. If we find out, you'll see it here first.

Finally, the reason for this one-off spectacular is unknown, but this reporter is guessing there is some sort of motor-racing which ITV are showing during the normal GMTV schedule, and thus after a luncheon and some money under the table with the GMTV bosses, got GMTV rescheduled.

UPDATED 07/10: It turns out the episode will be that Johto Championships classic Got Miltank. Good news for terrestrial viewers as it's the first time you'll see the episode. Shame its not Master Quest, though. The reason for this "out of the blue" special is because, according to my friend, the Japanese Grand Prix takes place on Sunday.
