The official announcement on the official site starts with more spin that the department of transporation in the days of Byers.
"Pokémon 4Ever raced through theaters last year as a special limited release, barely giving most Pokémon fans a chance to see the movie more than once."
Translation: The third film didn't do too well at the box office so Pokémon 4 was only released into a few cinemas.
Anyway, the DVD and video of the epic, "Pokémon 4Ever", will be released a day after Ruby and Sapphire, on March 18th. This is good news for Americans. No, really.
As expected, the video and DVD will feature the Pikachu short film that's losely based on "Fight Club", "Pikachu's PikaBoo" ("Hide and Seek" in Japan).
Perhaps most excitingly, are the extras that only the DVD will feature:
- A "sneak peak" at the next film- probably the trailer, or something.
- Commentary with the actors and producers.
- Interactive trivia - test your knowledge of Pokémon and the paper-manufacturing industry in Slough. It'll also feature clips from the movie.
- One intriguing feature is a "multi-angle animation progression feature"- we think its going to be a behind the scenes lark where you choose the angles.
Interestingly, there will be a special website for people who on the DVD, where "fans will find even more specials, including some new games". We'll keep you posted.
