The first figures of the number of sales of Ruby and Sapphire in America have been revealed. Its shockingly large.

It has now emerged that 2.2 million copies of Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire have been "moved through to North American retailers"- that's a lot.In fact, that is an awful lot. That means that there is one copy of Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire for one in every 127 of the whole population of the United States.
On hearing the news, our American correspondant, UraniaApple is thought to have said, "XD".

Incidentally, as for UK pre-orders that we are measuring, it currently stands that 50% of orders are for Ruby, and 50% for Sapphire. Of course, you can effect this by buying Ruby or Sapphire via PUK.
