The winners to Nintendo's "Pokémon Rocks" singing contest have been announced. The winner got a Lugia car. No, really.

For the contest, contestants had to video themselves singing their own version of the original Pokémon theme tune. Nintendo would then choose the best ten, then whittle it down to a winner and a runner up. As Finchy would say, I kid you not.
The question arises, did the judges pick them on performance/singing/production merit or whatever made them laugh? All of the videos are hilarious, without exception.
Anyway, the overall winner was the aptly titled "Matt" from California. For having less dignity than existing as Jeremy Beadle, he walks (well, drives) away with a LUGIA BRANDED PT-Cruiser, whatever that is. As well as two GBAs, a copy or Ruby and Sapphire and a rather unimpressive link cable. Click his pic to hear his melody, and see sideburns of Dave Gorman proportions. Nintendo chose this guy to win.
As for the creatively named Clay, from New York, he got himself $500 cash, a copy of Ruby and Sapphire, two GBAs and a link cable. He could be considered the real winner, as he got the peoples vote.
As for all the other finalists, including the girl who had a GBA SP and a Pikachu guitar, they all get a copy of Ruby and Sapphire, only one GBA and a link cable.
Needless to say the people who got to see these people perform get the last laugh.
