In a bid to upstage the premier of the forthcoming "The Matrix: Reloaded", tickets to the "Premier Event" will be available to anyone who spends over $100 at the Pokémon Center in New York. Yes, even Jeffery Archer could if he wasn't in prison.

There are only 125 pairs of tickets available- thats 250 tickets to you and me. The tickets will only "work" at Loews Cineplex at Time Square.

To tempt your cash out of your wallets and into theirs furtherly, everyone who attends will be able to get their photo taken with different Pokémon characters(!) and every child will recieve an "Exclusive" goody bag. Even better, if you print of the large picture that you can find here, and take it to the NY Pokémon Center, you'll recieve a special gift.

Interestingly, the $100 you have to spend is surprisingly deceptive. A disclaimer on the official site, which is reporting this promotion, says...

"Offer not valid on Nintendo GameCube™ or Game Boy® Advance SP purchases. $100 minimum does not include sales tax. Merchandise purchased to qualify may not be returned, but, within 30 days of purchase with a receipt, may be exchanged or returned for in-store merchandise credit."
