Yesterday there was a press conference held to reveal more details about the 5th Pokémon movie, but of course, theres also lots of info on the next Pokémon RPG's for Pokémon Advance.

It is now confirmed that there will be at least 99 new Pokémon, and the games themselves (asuming they're is two versions like the prequels), will be released in the land of sushi and noodles in the Last Quarter of this year! This would mean that America should be seeing these games in about 8 months time, followed by Britain in a foolishly long year and halfs time.

The fifth movie will feature those two new legendary birds that have been circulating the net, who are apparently, brother and sister! The blue one, Latios, is the brother and Latius, the red one, is the sister. Another new Pokémon featured in the film is Sonano. From the name, it sounds as if this critter is part of the Wobbuffet evolutionary chain. Splendid.

The film will be called "The Guardian of the Water city", which makes you wonder, are these two bird Pokémon a water type? Following tradition there is a Pikachu short film at the start of the film, cleverly titled, "Pika Pika Camp under the starry sky". Ah the japanese are probably just more original that were used to.

One final kettle of fish is that the films theme is based around, "What happens when you meet the true shape and form of your heart". There is no confirmed sighting of pot at the conference...
