The Dutch Fox Kids magazine (which shockingly, is only available in the Netherlands), is giving away an Eon ticket with its latest issue! Updated below with some more information!

The Eon ticket is a special e-card that can be used with the tactically named E-reader. By scanning it and having it connected to your RS game cartridge, you will be able to do many magical things, like catch the alternate legendary bird.

The magazine also features tonnes of other Pokémon stuff, including details on the new TV series, Heroes and a prize giveaway.

We'll try and get some more details, but slacking is a lot of fun.

Update 15 January: Okay, so I (Joeno) ran to the store as soon as I could, shelved out the cash for it, and bought the magazine. It's a bit disappointing though. This isn't the issue with the Eon Ticket yet, next month's will be.

The magazine does have a lot of information on Pokemon and its history (although not all accurate), and apparently, the information about how to use the Eon Ticket will be in the next issue.. Will there be more information about the e-reader release, or is there another way in which we can use it.

Still, it's probably worth it, even if it's just because of the free tube of peanut butter you can get, which makes up for half the sale price.
